Only just started happening, when you turn on and start to push it's like the front end of the dyson drops too close to the floor and therefore when the brushes are spinning the drum is scraping the floor and it's leaving gauges in the wood! Please can you assist?
Hi Mary Ellen,
I am sorry to hear you are having difficulty with
your DC15. Most Dyson vacuums have a built
in safety system that stops the machine if it begins to overheat. This usually
happens because the filter needs washing or your machine is blocked. If your
machine turns off on its own, unplug it and leave it for at least an hour to
cool down. Remember to check the filter and look for blockages before
re-starting. For more information on completing these checks please
visit:

If you need additional assistance please contact us
at 1-866-693-9766 US or 0800 298 0298 UK.
Best wishes,
Jessica
