The top washer arm on a Frigidaire-Gallery Series falls off

The washer arm is always just popping off. We have made sure that there was nothing touching it, but it still comes off. Water pressure to much? Or could a part be missing? It screws into the top of the washer, has a white retaining ring that the propellor snaps into,

Its driving us nuts. Whats the fix?

    the center piece on my washer popped off and i could not figure out how to put it back my washer still works but i was heritant to use it for fear the water my goe everywear. It did not break it just popped when i closed the door too fast and did not see it.i have yhjis number model DW5000Al serial I h 41713751 notor 5.Ga if that will help. thank you can you solve this problem.

    I am able to screw the arm back on but it continue to fall off....is a part broken? Water pressure too high?


    Would love to see a solution...

This also happens with my GLD2350RC, except my dishes won't get clean. I believe its because the water does not circulate right inside. Also I have melted spots from where the arm rested on the heat element. I need to get this this back on.......

The arms on a dishwasher spin with water pressure remove your arm and thouroughly clean and flush through , also check for wear on the arm bushes to see if there is excessive wear , the washers may need to be changed. Check the supply hole to the top arm to make sure it is not blocked.

You will need to check the drain pump and make sure there is nothing obstructing or restricting the flow of water.Once you know that is clear and the problem returns then you might have to change the main control board and possible the door lock.Also make sure to check the motor and all the wiring the motor.

I have a frigidaire dishwasher 4000 series aqua surge with speed clean. The small spray arm on the ceiling of the washer came off. I found it sitting on top of some cups in the top basket. There is a...
The top arm snaps into place. Simply unscrew the retaining clip from the ceiling of the washer. Inside of there, you will find a small white plastic clip. Make sure the two prongs are pointed down and poking out through the hole in the bottom of the larger grey clip that you just unscrewed. Then press the prongs on the white clip into the hole on the arm and snap it back together. Then you can screw the assembly back into the ceiling of the washer.

If this problem persists, you will likely need to replace the white plastic clip. (which is where I am at right now with my washer).

How remove wash machine top
On these machines there are no screws holding the top down, get under it and pop it up using a tool that won't scratch the finish.
First I would try removing the front panel to see if it could be done through the front. Its only held by two screws in the bottom.

Banging tumbler during spin cycle
Be certain that nothing got under the rubber skirt, pull it back and look /feel under it .
inside the tub are the large wiper arms solid and not come loose.
open the top access panel (3 screws in top rear )
and open the bottom access Panel (3 screws in bottom front)
Dissconnect power .
Look at the springs and arms that attach to the tub are they secure.
is the large stone concreate slabs secure.
move all these items and push at them all secure?
you can run it while open but the bottom has a switch on front right that has to be closed.
