I have a frigidaire diswasher

Suggests a power failure. Check loose wiring at the junction box where power supply is connected. Check white and black wire connection to electronic control board. See if flipped switch in fuse box for line to dishwasher. Just one possiblity. Others include burnt out heating element or bad pump. Time to check warranty for service call.

I need to flip my circuit breaker on my dishwasher

you may have to many large appliances on the same circuit. you might try to
see how many appliances are on that circuit. if it is so try turning off other appliances and just run the dishwasher to see how it runs. if this works you
may need to increase the amperage on the breaker or split the electrical
circuit. if its on its on breaker try increasing the breaker amperage. good luck!

I have a frigidaire dishwasher

The top arm snaps into place. Simply unscrew the retaining clip from the ceiling of the washer. Inside of there, you will find a small white plastic clip. Make sure the two prongs are pointed down and poking out through the hole in the bottom of the larger grey clip that you just unscrewed. Then press the prongs on the white clip into the hole on the arm and snap it back together. Then you can screw the assembly back into the ceiling of the washer. If this problem persists, you will likely need to replace the white plastic clip. (which is where I am at right now with my washer).

I have a PLD4555RFC dish washer and I'm getting the err display it will runn thru a whole cycle and right before the end it gives the err message is this solvedby doing the same sequence

Hello Ken R, thanks for the post! I understand that your Frigidaire dishwasher, PLD455RFC, is going through the whole cycle and then will provide you an ER code. The code ER on a Frigidaire dishwasher stands for a membrane switch failure. Generally that means that the main control board has detected a stuck key or a key pressed in for more than a minute. I see you have already attempted to reset your appliance and you are still receiving an ER code. Some possibilities that could be causing this problem are a wiring issue or main control board. These intricate parts do require precision and patience, therefore when replacing the exchange of electrical components or removing them from your appliance, I always suggest seeking professional assistance. One must be very careful as these replacements can lead to potential harm. I hope this is helpful. -Matt

Frigidaire dishwasher door squeaks when opened and closed

I had the same problem and this worked like a charm:
http://www.blog.applianceoutletservice.com/2008/12/frigidaire-dishwasher-door-squeaks.html

All you'll have to do is take off the kick plate, actually remove the cords, and lubricate with soap (lower tech than spray silicon, but it's worked so far...)

Error code 125

Hello Lou, I see that your Frigidaire dishwasher will not start. I would recommend giving the appliance a hard reset. You will do this by switching the circuit breaker off that the dishwasher is attached to. When you do this you will want to leave it off for 20-30 minutes. Once the 20-30 minutes has elapsed, bring power back to the dishwasher and try to restart it. If you are still receiving a 125 error code and the dishwasher is not starting, I would suggest contacting your local authorized technician to diagnose and see why you keep receiving this error code. -Best Regards-

Dishwashere not drying

The vent is in the door and you need to remove the panel on the door. However, if you take the kick panel off the bottom, there should be a techincians guide attached to it and that shows all the tests etc that you can use to troubleshoot this.

Frigidaire fdb1050rec 154427301 Have had this

Good Morning Kate, thank you for your inquiry!Often when a dishwasher leaks, it is because the unit could possibly be unlevel. If not, water can be leaking over the front lower baffle in the door. Try looking along the cabinet and see if the unit is even with the cabinet. Measure the correct amount of detergent as found in the Owner's Guide. It is recommended to use one teaspoon for every three grains of harness. If regular dishwasher detergent (for sink use) is used in a dishwasher it can also cause excessive sudsing. Lastly, the dishwasher could possibly have a loose water vale or a crack in the tub. I hope this information helps to some degree. If there is anything else that I can help you with, please feel free to reconnect!

Hello ddux97 - Here are a few simple troubleshooting tips that may help you resolve this issue: · Do you have hard water? Hard water is the primary reason to cause soap residue. Water hardness can be determined by the local water supply company, water treatment company or via a water hardness test kit, which can be found at local part distributors or hardware stores. Some kind of water softening is recommended, in areas where the water hardness is 12 grains or higher. For very hard water a home water softening system would be recommended. · Will the upper spray arm rotate freely? If it does not, then there isn't enough water being pumped to the spray arm or the full flow of water is not making it to the upper spray arm. Remove or replace the spray arm assemblies since it is possibly damaged. · Confirm that the drain hose is strapped up properly under the sink to prevent the water from siphoning out during the cycle. · Dishwashers require the water inside the unit tank to be 120F to perform properly. Best way to ensure this happens is to run the sink faucet until the water comes out hot before the dishwasher is turned on. This will ensure that hot, 120F water goes directly into the dishwasher when it starts to fill. When checking dishwashing detergent boxes and with detergent manufacturers, the compounds in the detergent need water temperatures to be between 125F - 140F to dissolve in the dishwasher. The water pressure should be 20-120 psi (pounds per square inch). If it is too low, I recommend reaching out to a plumber to further assist you. · Rinse aid dispenser should be checked and filled about once a month depending on the number of washes you do in a month since this will cause cloudy dishes and soap residue. If these basic troubleshooting tips prove ineffective, then at this point, I would recommend having a service technician to diagnose the problem before investing in unnecessary parts.
