hi
White smoke is burning engine oil.
mostly when Engine oil is changed or topped up
little oil get dropped and when engine heats up. it burns the oil.
but once oil is burnt then no more smoke is there.
Sounds like your drive belt is loose or worn out. You will probably need a new belt. Is it possible something got inside the machine and jammed the belt?
this could just be oil leaking out off value cover and burning off exhaust can u smell the smoke? does it smell like antifreeze ?? if smells like antifreeze more than likely have a coolant leak if has little smell or burning oil smell probably an oil leak
Hi, The burning smell can be cause by the Fuser. Maybe a piece of paper got jammed or if you have used any special media like labels or glossy paper if any of that got stuck in the fuser it will stay there until its burned out. Another thing could be that the HVPS is shorting out thus causing the smoke and the burning smell. The best option is to inspect the interior of the fuser and make sure there are no paper jammed in it.
When you turn it on....is the belt turning the brushes? Something may be caught causing the brushes to stick and the belt to just grind the brush assembly.
