Switch tv on the switch can not contribute to that. unless the following goes fault
i switch getting fixed on one position(holding)
ii check power on a input of tv and input fuse
iii power supply, i have said that because if a power supply is ok, sound was going to be there.

They have a crappy website. I couldn't even find a motherboard diagram in the manual. You can determine which is the power pins by trying plugging the power connector in on each set of pins and pushing the power button until it starts. It needs to be plugged in when you try pushing the power button of course.There would be around 10 pins in two rows the power pins would be on the same row. they should be near the edge of the mother board and usually the power button pins are on the row furthest from the edge. I can't guarantee that though

Sony kv36xbr800 won't turn on -standby blinks 2 times pls help
Two blinks - B+ over current protection (OCP), unit goes to the standby mode then displays the 2 blink fault. Could be a short in the power supply of any of the circuits.

Two (2) minute start up Samsung LNT4065F
I found information on the earthinfo website that seems to pretty well describe, what I think to be the problem. I believe this to be a capasitor problem on the pwer supply. I'm going to try and replace these as time permits. It Seems MANY have had this problem and I'm convinced this is the resolve I'm going to persue. hold the tv button the red pwr light should go on then type in the first code the pwr button should turn on again. then try pushing the vol button up and down (any button will do) if it doesn't work then try the next code following the same steps

after it fails how many times does the red LED blink? check the board very closely for any cracked solder. and then check the main regulators. also look to see if you have any physically bad capacitors, they might look like they are exploding on the top.
