AI found out I had to replace the flywheel and a couple other things inside the motor. I could have just bought a new one but it was cheaper to just fix the one I have, and I really like this one.dd a Comment

If fuel is present and spark is good then it's air. Remove air filter and see if it starts. If so, it's time for a new one.

this could one or a combination of a few things
1 check inside the tank for dirt 2check that the filter screen inside the tank is not plugged3 make sure the gas feed tube is not restricted pinched in the case or kinked also you can try a simple carb adjustment.also check to make sure the plug is gapped to the right specs good luck and i hope one of these suggestions do the trick

SOURCE: weedeater will not start. was running, shut it off

Pull the spark plug after pushing the primer bulb and cranking a few times...if the plug is "wet" (indicating fuel is present in the cylinder) then the next step will be checking the compression...compression should read above 90psi (preferrably 100-125psi)...if compression is below 90psi, the most likely culprit will be a stuck piston ring.

SOURCE: Poulan 446 Pro engine won't run

its probably not getting any gas from the tank try putting your finger on the hole on the carberator and pull your finger should be wet if not take fuel line of the carburator and thenblow then take off the gas cap and blow through the hole on the gas tank it should flow freely throgh teh line to the carburator

Testimonial: "Thanks for the help. The gas line was dessolving on the inside and getting into the carb. I replaced the gas line."

SOURCE: poulan weedeater bv200 wont start

Check the fuel lines for cracks/breaks. If they are o.k., then:

Youwill need to disassemble the carburetor and spray with carb.cleaner.Make sure the small screen is free of debris. (Should be able to seedaylight through it.)

Use a Den Tek Brush, (http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.asp?pid=165357&catid=1152),to clean the small portals in carb. These portals can become blocked. Reassemble and start.

If the carb. parts are more than 4 years old, you may have to replace them.

If you need further assistance on:
1. Fuel line replacement or
2. Carburetor kit replacement

Just let me know.

Weedeater won't start

inside the carb there is a small screen. it is probably dirty. also the diaphragm may be stiff. go ahead and rebuild it. the kits are cheap and it should run like a new one. there are videos on you tube that show how to do this.

I have a Weedeater FL1500. I just changed the

Once it heats up either the spark plug or the ignition module is breaking causing them not to work. I would first check on the price of the ignition module, Then decide it is to expensive to repair and send it to the scrap man.

My weedeater want start change spark plug

I would have a cylinder compression done on the engine before spending any more money. It may be below 100 psi and will not run. Plus if your fuel mixture is over 30 days old I would mix up some fresh fuel mixture.
Or the diaphragm in the carburetor has become stiff and is not pumping any fuel.
Good Day.

Stihl weed eater runs 2min. then stop

Stihl weedeater was running and stopped suddenly. Put in a new fuel filter and cleaner air filter with soap and water. Checked spark plug and it appeared fine. Started the weedeater, ran for a second or so and stopped. Spark plug wasn't gas fouled. Could it be the carburetor needing new diaphram gasket and spring.
