How do I eliminate clicks and pops (most likely caused by the freezer/fridge) from the newly bought JBL EON 15/G2? Changing location in the house and using a mains surge protectors did not help. None of the other home studio equipment is affected. Thanks, gkfw
My son and i fixed an eon a decade ago that had this problem. we swept a sine wave through the audio spectrum and discovered it started barking somewhere around a low D on the piano.
Turns out the mains connection was intermittent right where it enters the eon from the wall. Soldered the ac power connections and the problem went away.

I have a jbl 15" eon that was working fine until the last gig. When we pulled it out to fire it up, it just made a pop sound when we turned it on. It wouldnt pass signal, tho it was recieving, and it popped again when I turned it off. This a new one to me. Any Ideas?
I have a jbl eon powered 15 g2 that is sounding distorted on the highs. Do you think that replacing the tweeter could solve it? How easy is toreplace the tweeter? Thanks a lot.
