You will need the model number and the date of manufacturer. On this site you can get free manuals for your product. Make sure you know the model number and the date of manufacturer. This should be on the product itself.

Are you sure that one spring is not inside the other? I almost had that problem

You probably know this already, but yes, there is a recall for the end caps you use when transforming it to stage 3. One of them can fall off easily and cause a tripping hazard.

The model number, 6231711, and manufactured date can be found on a white sticker on the inside of the upper blue ring.

Check thier website. You can enter in the model # and date of production (seat ring that the cloth attaches to). From there it'll show you all the available parts for purchase. You can also find/buy replacement or "switch a roo" toys from their website. I found this by googling "replacement parts for evenflo excersaucer".

Go to www.evenflo.com. Click on your product at the top and then on the right side there is a "related link" for product instructions. You will need your Model # and Manufacture date (which is on the seat of the Exersaucer). Then it will list all the parts available for that product. Almost all the way down is a pdf version of the instructions that you can download for free. I used it and was able to assemble my Exersaucer to the 3rd stage. Good Luck!

When I had an exersaucer for my kids I had trouble putting the seat cover back on too. The cover on the one that I had wrapped around the circular rim that spins when on. There should be some hook like circles on the inside to hook the cover back on... then you press firmly to put the seat back in place... some have clips too. Mine always went in easy with a firm push down and clipped onto something rather there, never knew what I did, just press down FIRM!
