Is minolta auto 25 compatible with nikon d5200

ABSOLUTELY NOT! The trigger voltage of the Auto 25 is much too high and will quickly fry your D5200.

If you really want to use this flash with your camera, you'll need something like this to isolate them.

Wide angle defuser is broken Minolta 5600hs

It's not a problem if you're not using a wide-angle lens. And if you are, you can always diffuse the flash by putting a thin white handkerchief or even a sheet of tissue paper over the flash.

Metz flash sony nex camera

Sony NEX 6 has an ATG/Sony's Multi-Interface-Shoe.

Let's hope the Metz 58AF-2 Flash is made for Sony/Minolta, which has an old Minolta's hotshoe.

Contact Sony for the adapter.
Or just buy the Promaster Sony Multi-Ineterface Shoe Adapter, it less than Sony's.

I have this Electro GSN one. When I mounted a normal flash, the flash doesn't function. What is the solution? Does it need a special flash which differently? Thanks for your helps. Reap

You can use any flash that has one contact at the shoe.
Try using the PC flash cord to the flash socket on the camera body and see if the flash fires. If you see flash with pc flash cord and not with the accessory shoe, try cleaning the flash contacts at the hot shoe.
If no flash either using the hot shoe or the flash cord, try testing the flash. If the flash is good, you have to open up the camera to trouble shoot. The flash wire is connected to the shutter's flash contacts.

I have a Maxxum 7000i 35mm camera and in the display there is the word Help flashing what does this mean This happend after i tried a differnt lens, the lens opened than closed The lens that i tried was a...

Konica lenses do not fit Minolta cameras. I think you messed something up.

Minolta MC and MD lenses worked on the older manual focus Minolta bodies. They will also work on the Phoenix and Seagull clones of the old Minolta bodies.

The Konica lens should only ever be mounted on a Konica camera.

Your 7000i is now a Minolta paperweight. You need to send your 7000i for repair or replace it.

You could also look on Ebay for another Maxxum body to use your lenses designed for the Minolta A mount. As a rule, camera lenses are not interchangeable. You can use any Maxxum lens on any Maxxum body as a rule, but Minolta changed their flash shoe after the original 7000 series. Flashes that work with your 7000i will work with any subsequent Maxxum.

Minolta sigma ef-430 st ma flash will not work on cactus v2

Of course not. The electronics inside the flash and the mounting shoe have been specifically designed for the Minolta contacts and required voltages.
Actually, you're lucky if you have not damaged the flash by doing that.
Get a flash with a generic one contact shoe for your cactus.

it screws into the mount underneath your camera, connects via a cord to your hotshoe mount, and your flash willl then sit next to your camera mounted on this flash bracket.

Added flash mount

LOLEE, I'M NOT FAMILIAR WITH THAT FLASH, BUT I HAVE SOME GENERAL INFO THAT MIGHT HELP. FIRST, IS THIS FLASH USING THE CAMERA " HOT SHOE " MOUNT? IF IT IS, ARE YOU SURE THAT THE FLASH IS FULLY INSERTED IN THE HOT SHOE? NEXT, IS THIS FLASH COMPATIBLE WITH YOUR CAMERA? YOU SEE, SOMEHOW THE CAMERA IS NOT GETTING THE INFO THAT THE FLASH IS CONNECTED. I WOULD CHECK ALL CONNECTIONS TO BE SURE THEY ARE TIGHT. HOPE THIS GIVES YOU SOME IDEAS TO WORK ON. IF YOU NEED MORE HELP, JUST REPLY.
