I have the same problem but I followed the steps listed and the system will not accept "0000" or "1020000" for the password. Is there a way to reset it to the default?

You need to get into voicemail administration and reset the mailbox password. Open the mailbox (F981), enter the default password (0000) and the system will prompt you to enter a new password.
