I have the same convergence problem...and I would LOVE to do this myself, as I can solder with the best of them. I have been using this t.v. for about 7 months now, and a relative used it since it was new. I got it with the convergence problem, but now out of nowhere I went to turn it on, there is nothing. I hear 3 high pitch squeals, and then nothing. I took the backing off to get to the chassis to hear where it is coming from, and it seems to be coming from a large white cylindrical part near the very front. As a matter of fact, I also noticed a large build up of dust, and what looked like burnt dust on the backing panel, which is right next to this large white part.I am wondering if this is the main fuse? PLEASE HELP>>>PLEASE....I really love this t.v., and if I can fix this AND the convergence board, I will be extremely grateful.

yesterday i turned on my tv and the top and bottom are bowed in, and the sides are bowed out. it is model no.p52960, had no problems till today, would appreciate any help you can give me.
