I cannot find a model number on a vintage Magic Chef stove, which I have to have to order a replacement drip pan in order for it to be usable. This stove has 4 burners in middle of stove top with two 6 inch burner cover doors that open to the outside to uncover burners and fold back to the center to cover the burners. The oven is on the right side of the front and the broiler door is on the left (beside the oven door) and swings out in a 1/2 circle to expose the broiler unit. Has anyone seen a stove like this?
You probably have a 1940's model of Magic Chef. Check for the model number under the lid of the cook top on the upper right hand side of the stove. It should have the model number and the serial number, too. You will need both. The Old Applicance Club run by Jack Santoro is the place to go along with a site called "Antique gas stoves"in Georgia. Good luck with the world of vintage stoves.

You've described the stove I'm looking for parts for exactly!
i have a magic chef stove/oven that needs an oven safety valve. The model number listed on the plate under the cook top says S613W-3PX. serial number 2X 141081. Everyone i have talked to so far says that model number does not exist. I can assure that the oven exists becuase i use it daily!!! However, according to my repair man I need an oven safety valve and can't find one - HELP
