It tends to be the problem of roller . Roller is not moving smoothly , just manually move the roller to and froth and then close the lid properly . Now try to take print it will work fine .

Your gears are out of alignment or they are stripped out . Check to see if anything is inside to stop paper and create jam. It is a hardware problem and if you can find it by checking its not worth fixing.Cheap printer and it causes a lot of problems. not worth spending a lot of time on.

Use only recommended paper. Paper must be straight and low moisture content. Moisture can cause such problems.
If the problem remains then I ask whether your printer is new or dismantled for repairs?

Paper keeps jamming each i try to print

Try this first:

Turn off the printer and unplug it. Open the paper jam door and give the paper roller a gentle push forward until it clicks. This is a simple reset of the paper feed. Close the door, plug your printer back in and turn it on.

Same problem here. Went thru a few tests with Lexmark but didnt help. They next said it would be best to get new one since repair cost would be higher. Thru front door I do see a spring that moves freely. That must be broke. After their help they sent email for 20% off.

Sounds like there is something jammed in the paper feeder, or maby its the paper feeder itself. Check to see if the path the paper follows through the feeder is completely clear. Sometimes paper is left in the feeder from previous paper jams.
