Same problem. Turned out to be a small nut lodged in the array of small rollers, just behind the ink cartridges. Managed to lift the roller bar at one corner, and shake it out.

I have seen your issue on the paper feed for your printer. Well, I am thumu from india-Hyderabad. I would like provide my solutions on the issue.

 

This issue could happen due to the following below causes:

 

1. If you are not using the recommended Paper type for your Printer

2. If you feeding the Paper incorrect.

3. if paper type selected in the Printer Properties and the paper type that are trying to feed are mismatched.

4. If there is an issue with Paper Feed Rollers of your Printer. Or some times, the issue could also happen if there is some dust on the paper feed rollers.

5. If there is an issue with Printer software might have got corrupted.

 

Try below solutions :

 

1. Check whether the issue happens with all applications or not.

 If it happens with all applications, then we need to troubleshoot further or if it happens with Particular application like MS-word, then we need to check the Print settings.

 

2. Make sure that you are using Correct and recommended Paper type for Printing and same paper type is selected in the Printer Properties.

 

3. If the issue still happens, then please disconnect the Printer from Wall outlet and from Computer, try to clean the Printer paper feed rollers . Please look in to Manual or Instruction set that is given with Printer to clean Paper feed rollers.

Yes that could be an issue with Printers when you don't use them for a Long time, Please follow the below mentioned Steps: It insists there is a Cartridge problem on the Printer............ In this Case take out the Paper from the Paper Feed Tray........ Unplug the Power Supply from the Printer.......... Remove both the Cartridges from the Printer.......... Now take a size 10 Envelope fold it so that it should become like a thin long strip........ Now Insert that Envelope on the left side corner of the Printer and move it from right to left and left to right as fast as u can for about 10 times.......... Now Insert the Ordinary Papers onto the Printer and insert both the catridges and Turn on the Printer...... Blinking Stopped...........Issue Resolved....... Still Blinking: Remove both the Cartridges take a Paper Towel turn the catridges direction so that u can see a Copper plate with small boxes on it....... Just wipe it twice or thrice with the Paper Towel.......... Now insert it and Power on the Printer and see whether the Lights are still blinking if it is still blinking...... There could be something blocking the paper path that's not allowing the paper to not go all the way through the feeder. Try to open the printer and access the cartridge area. Remove the cartridges. Check for any foreign objects blocking the paper path. Rebrick your printer by removing the power adapter (black box found on the back of your printer where the power cord is plugged in) and then re-plug after 30 seconds. When your printer turns back on, re-insert your cartridges. Then try print your document again to verify that the problem is fixed.

Leading cause of paper jams is debris/foreign objects that accidentally fell into the paper feed area. Please follow steps below to fix the problem:

1. Remove the sheets of paper from the feeder.

2. Grab a flashlight and look inside the feeder for any debris or foreign objects.

3. If you're willing and physically able, you may also turn the printer over. Any debris should just freely roll out from the feeder.

4. If feeder is clear, place the printer back on the table, open the printer cover and remove the cartridges.

5. Check the cartridge area for any obstructions/debris in the cartridge carrier's path or the paper path.

6. If cartridge area is clear, close the cover.

7. Re-brick your printer. Pull out the power supply, black box where the power cord is plugged in at the back of the printer, and put it back after 30 seconds.

8. When the printer turns on, reinsert the cartridges and load some paper. Try to print a document again to verify that the problem is fixed.

1. Turn the printer off and open the access cover.
2. Look for any obstructions in the paper path and remove them if necessary. (It is possible to move the carrier assembly with the power off.)
3. Turn the printer on, load some paper, and press the Form Feed button. (On the X83, press the Select button.)
4. Watch the paper as it feeds through and try to determine where the jam is occurring.
5. Check to see if all the rollers are turning.

If all the rollers are turning, there may be something in the feed path that you can't see. Go to step 6.
If not, there is probably a feed motor or a gear problem and the printer may require service.
6. If the paper is jamming under the carrier assembly, you may be able to fix it using the manual feed slot.
7. Turn the printer off.
8. Take a #10 envelope and feed it through the left side of the manual feed slot until it comes right through the printer to the back of the exit rollers.
9. Move it up and down first, and then slowly move it over to the right side. If something is stuck under the black guide plate, this may work it loose.

I am not sure what you mean by 2 power cords, I am discarding my old LEX73 and have the power supply for it if you are interested
