The only firmware update available for the sc-bt228 is here: http://www2.panasonic.com/consumer-electronics/support/Audio/Home-Theater/Home-Theater-Systems/Drivers-Downloads/model.SC-BT228.D#ts . It is dated 9/27/2010 and is a Viera Cast Update.

If you do not end up at the right tab, make sure to click the Drivers and Downloads Tab.
