Confuse about which drivers need to install for my lp2824 plus? ZPL or EPL? What's the difference between those? When to use ZPL and when to use EPL?

Doing a search in the manual for ZPL I found that this is the default for the printer. The printing is for a more 'fancy' label.

"EPL Line Mode printing is designed to be command compatible with EPL1 programming language used in early model LP2022 and LP2042 printers."
".. is ideal for basic retail (point of sale - POS), shipping, inventory, work
flow control, and general labeling." "The ZPL style label provides a more intuitive and functionally descriptive naming conventions.."

So, if you want just basic labels, use the EPL. To do more on the label, use the ZPL, which is the default.
