I want to install an HP psc 2175 printer on a new computer with Windows OS 7, 64 bit. It belongs to an older friend who is not online and doesn't plan to go online. So I was hoping to find a driver I can download to my MAC and then copy to her Dell. So far I can't find a downloadable printer driver only installation software. Help!

This link at HP's website tells you how to install and use the printer driver located within the Vista Operating System. Unfortunately HP has not issued a separate Vista driver for your printer. They do, however, give some pointers for setting up and using your printer for printing and scanning.

Go to www.HP.com and click drivers and downloads.
Fill in your printer information, and your OS info, and it will take you to the download for the drivers.

Save it to your hard drive. and install it from there.
It is recommended that you burn it to CD for future use.
