Www.findanything.com just kidding lol

If you're trying to use windows vista in the same way you used previous operating systems
you may be out of luck because windows vista is a whole new critter.

my recomendation is give it time , learn more about aol compatability with windows vista

you can also turn off the security features in windows vista that pop up every time you try to do something.

I consider this a passive solution but none the less a step farther down the road for you're learning experience as a computer user.

How do i transport the address book from old computer windows xp to new computer vista

The easiest way would be to identify the location and the file your Dymo printer uses to store its address. Copy the File to a USB memory stick, copy the File on the USB stick to your your new computer, and when you start up your Dymo printing utility open the copied file as your default address library.
The problem you may run into can be caused by different versions of the Dymo printing utility. You may be forced (using the Dymo printing utility) to export the address book on the XP computer and then import the address book on the Vista computer. The picture below outlines this procedure using Dymo printing utility v.8

Also, if you have created any custom label designs you will want to transfer them as well

IPad How to transfer or sync content to your computer

iTunes, iBooks, and App Store content

By default, iTunes Store, iBookstore, and App Store content on your device will automatically transfer to your computer. If it doesn't, you can use the Transfer Purchases option in iTunes to ensure that all iTunes Store, iBookstore, and App Store content is transferred to your iTunes library. Learn about transferring purchased content.

Photos

You can import photos or videos into your computer that you have saved on your iPad (for example, in Mail or Safari, or when using the iPad Camera Connection Kit).

Note: You cannot transfer photos that you synced to your device from a computer. You can only transfer photos or videos to your computer that you saved on the iPad itself.

Contacts, Calendars, Bookmarks, and Notes

You can sync contacts, calendars, bookmarks, and notes with applications on your computer across multiple computers and devices. You can find the sync settings for these in iTunes on your computer. With your iPad connected to the computer, select your iPad (under Devices). Then click the Info tab.

  • Microsoft Entourage 2004 or Microsoft Entourage 2008.
Notes:

  • When syncing contacts, you can choose to sync all of your contacts, or only selected groups.
  • You can select a Default Contacts group into which all new contacts created on your iPad will be added.
  • Additional options for syncing include syncing your contacts with Yahoo or Gmail/Google Mail. You will need to configure it with the user name and password for your Yahoo or Google account.

Ijust purchased a new computer and found a new internet server. the problem is that my farmville farm is not available to me anymore. my friends can still visit my farm? what do i need to do?

You have to have your user name password. If you forgot it - sign in - you will be prompted to give your username and Email address and your password will be sent with a way to reset or choose another password.

That's how it's done

When I am sending emails through windows mail, I have to type full email address everytime, it is not picking up from contacts database (address book)

hi

well first of all you need to create a back up of all your address book on your computer on a csv code .
you can do this by clicking on to file and then click on import and export address book .
try to save the back up address book on desktop .
then delete all the address book from windows mail .
once you have done that then open up your windows mail on your computer and then go click on to file and then go to import address book click on to it and try to paste the address book from desktop .
and while doing this also try to create a new profile on your windows mail .
if you get any problem while doing this you can get back to me on fixya and i can help you out in doing so .

Thanks

Not compatable with windows vista ?\the program doesn't start and gives a fatal error loading the opening book

PC (Windows 98 / Me / XP)

It was made before vista, however some programs do work for vista. This unfortunatly isn't one of the lucky ones.

However, you could try googling programs that emulate pre vista os. That or buy a small Harddrive (around 5-10gb cheap) so you could play older games. Good luck.

Transfering mail setup from Windows xp to a windos vista machine with EasySuite

I'm not 100% sure about vista because I hate it but I can help you copy all of your outlook express data to a CD\DVD disk & your address book. Your network settings for express account is a phone call to your ISP.
If vista's explorer is set up like XP you should be able to copy your data into outlook express.
Open all these folders on you XP system.
User name\Application Data\Identities\{xxxxxxx}\Microsoft\Outlook Express
Copy the Outlook Express folder to your CD.
User name\Application Data\Microsoft\Address Book. Copy Address Book folder.
Making sure you have everything.
Open, User name\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{xxxxxxx}\Microsoft\Outlook Express
Compair the two Outlook Express folder files. CD will not allow copy of same named folder.
If Vista's lay out is the same as XP than copy Outlook Express folder to Vista.
Suggest you have your current ISP setting /account setup before copying to Vista

Let me know if this works for you!
Good Luck & Kind Regards.
