Hi, Chessmaster 9000 needs the disc to be always in your computer in order to be played. If for example you just install the game then you remove the disc, it'll ask always for the disc to be inserted. If you need more help just ask.

In sandbox very limited connections and modifications are allowed between the program and the rest of the pc. More importantly all these modifications are temporary so when the program is shut down all of them are deleted.
Because of that in sandbox you should run only the programs that you got from an unknown source, from the internet, not programs that you bought legally and you want to permanently install in your pc.
Install your game normally . To make sure the install is not disturbed in any way (and get another error when trying to run it) you should completely disable your antivirus.

It was made before vista, however some programs do work for vista. This unfortunatly isn't one of the lucky ones.

However, you could try googling programs that emulate pre vista os. That or buy a small Harddrive (around 5-10gb cheap) so you could play older games. Good luck.

you need to right click on the icon for the game go to properties and click on compatibility, and then change it to windows xp /ps2/sp3 then click ok, the game will now start in windows xp mode and not any other. should work then.

Probably incompatible, most modern games require certain video card more memory, more CPU speed, etc. or the do not work. Gamers spend the most on their machines or any group of users.
