I have a Canon MP210 scanner/ printer that is telling me I have a paper jam but there is no paper in the machine. I've turned off the power and turned it back on, I've looked for a small piece of paper that may be in the machine, but nothing works. This occured after printing a document and ran out of paper. I've put more paper in the printer but cannot get rid of the E,3 error code. Any thoughts?

Canon 3010 problem jam indecate

If the error indicator light is lit, then the Canon printer is jammed. To fix a paper jam you must remove the paper tray, disconnect the AC power adapter, wait 5 seconds, then plug the printer back in. If the jammed paper does not automatically eject, carefully remove the paper manually. To help prevent further jamming, fan the paper in the paper tray to prevent the paper sticking together.

My canon Mp 140 keeps Flashing E 3 after I removed the paper that was jammed.

From what I've seen, unplug this machine for about 15 minutes or just forget about it for a while and go back later and plug it in. make sure the paper isn't jammed. If the code persists, let me know.

Papel is jammed

Hi
Can you see the jammed paper?
Open it up and remove the stuck paper manually.
Be careful not to touch anything inside the machine.
Turn the printer off and on.

Canon pixma ip1900 paper jam

Hi
Here's a few things you can try :-
1. Blow it out with canned air. make sure there are no bits of paper or dust in the paper feed area and in the front access area that could be causing the jam.
2. Verify that the cartridge carriage moves to the service area when the front door is opened (as if to change tanks)
3. Verify that the timing belt, drive belt, gearing and rollers all look normal.
4. Take the network out of play when doing the initial troubleshooting
5. With the computer off, unplug the printer's power cord and USB cord for about 3-5 min
6. Completely uninstall the printer's driver and software. Then reinstall the printer's drivers only.
Retry after each step.
Also if your Canon printer has fax capabilities, and you are getting a false paper jam error, the problem is easy to fix.
Open the scanner lid.
You will see a white strip on the left, under the lid.
There are also two small, white tabs near this strip.
Gently pull on each tab. You should feel a small "click" on the tab that is jammed.
This fixes the problem.
I suspect that when previously scanning something like a book page, one of these tabs got pushed the wrong way.
Hope it will help. Also you can get back to me if you need further assistance.
Thankyou.

Ive just turned on my Canon pixma mp250 printer and have an Error, the screen is flashing E 0 3??? have tried resetting but that hasn't had any affect.

An E3 error code in a Canon MP210 printer is frustrating. This code reflects a paper jam that is not always apparent immediately and can be indicative of other problems.

Remove the jammed paper by pulling it from the front or top of the printer. If it does not come out, restart the printer to eject the paper. If the paper fails to come out or rips, remove the cover and retry. Once you have removed all visible paper, check paper sensor paths for debris or damage, blowing it out as needed.

Reload the paper as recommended and print a test page using the printer's software. If the error continues, the sensor that generates the error may be damaged. If so, take your printer to an authorized service center.

Canon MP210 Paper Jam

A common issue is moisture. As the relative humidity changes, the paper will absorb some of the excess moisture. (Ink jets don't get as hot as other printers; but they do have temperature changes during operation.)

Unfortunately, the only solution that I have ever found is to use paper from a just opened package. Try to keep only enough paper in the printer for a short duration of printing (1-2 weeks). Keep the rest of an open package of paper somewhere else where the temperature and humidity stays fairly constant.

I hope this helps.

Canon mp210 will not load paper this is a brand new printer so why error 3 continually?

E3 is paper jam.Make sure there is no paper jam anywhere in the machine.. look inside, rear, where the paper tray (output) is, etc to see if you find any shreds or torn paper that may have gotten stuck and you didn't see.Look carefully in the zone of Purge unit, using flashlight in the right side on printer.

Buddy its simple, Just remove the power cord and printer cord. Keep it like that for 5 minutes. then restart your printer thats your factory reset. It its not working then your paper sensor is u/s you need to replace it.
