I have a Kirby zip brush that wouldn't spin. I took out the brush part then filled the sink with hot soapy water and let it soak. Every once in a while I would agitate the brush then push it against the sink with the brushes down. It finally started moving both up & down and around. After rinsing it really well I put drops of oil down the shaft. If the push down the part with the 3 brushes, it has a small area that you can down in some oil. mine is working fine now. It is 27 years old. I even had to fix the clip so if someone needs to know how to do it, contact me.
Did you check to make sure theres no clog in the hose since its powered by air?
