They really don't repair these so the only thing you can do is just replace it.

The display usually stops working if the water tank is overfilled. Sometimes just letting the display dry will fix the display. However other times if shorts out the display board and will not work. Then it is time for a new unit.

if it is out of warenty its basically garbage. sorry
