Change blade
OK first raise the cutting head. Loosen the screw that holds the guard in place and move out of the way. Find the spindle lock on the right hand side of the gearcase and turn blade by hand (UNPLUG SAW FIRST) until it locks. With the wrench supplied with saw put it on the blade bolt and turn it clockwise to loosen, it has left hand threads, remove outer flange and blade. Let me know it you need any more help
My chop saw has power
Hi. Maybe there is a safety interlock of some sort for which the conditions are not being met, maybe a blade guard switch or some such. Can you refer to the owners manual?
When i pull the trigger,
unplug the tool and try and rotate the spindle/blade by hand by using a glove on the blade. Does it move freely or is it tight? Then did you recently remove the blade and is the inner flange on? If it doesn't move freely I would remove the back motor housing cover to check the bearing condition and look for any obvious visible problems like discoloration of the field/armature. please let me know if you need more assistance before voting. Thank you
My black and decker miter
Make sure something else works where it is plugged in.
There may be a small thermal reset button you have to push, near the motor.
The switch could have gone bad, because they have that extra safety you have to push. Check for 110 AC at both sides of the switch when pressed.
How to replace the blade
Hi. This saw should have come with two wrenches for removing and reinstalling the blade. If you do not have the wrenches, open end wrenches will do. Begin by unplugging the saw. That is important. Then use the wrenches to hold the inner nut and turn the outer nut. Counterclockwise as u look at it. Be sure when u install the new blade that you have the teeth pointing in the right direction. make a note of how the teeth are pointing now before u remove that blade. If you don't have the special wrenches you can purchase them from blackanddecker.com

I need to know how to change the blade on a Black
Go to Dewaltservicenet.com and in the middle of the page towards the bottom type in the model number 1710 and it will go to another page requesting either a breakdown or instruction manual, you have to use the manual for a type 4. They do not offer the type 2 as an online version. Hope this helps

How do i replace the grinder wheel on a skil 9310?
You need a special wrench that has two notches on the end. Make sure the item is unplugged. Place the wrench on the two holes where the wheel is. There is a button on top not the on off switch. The button over the wheel it's self. Push this button in as it locks the wheel. Turn the wrench counter clock wise to remove ring. Remove and replace wheel. Put on ring and do the opposite. Hold down the button and turn the wrench clock wise. That's it. Let me know if I can help you with anything else.
