Blackanddecker typye 2 recip-saw handi

There is a small ball inside the chuck that sometimes gets stuck on these quick release chucks. Check and see if it is still in there and if it is see if it is stuck. If it is just put a drop of oil on it and keep working it. It will loosen up and you will be back in operation.

BLACK AND DECKER HANDI SAW ISNT WORKING

there are several trouble shooting you can perform:
1. Check the plug particularly teh wire attached on it.almost all of the wires of a power tools got damage on the wires itself due to a continous moving when working.
2. Somtimes there is a built-in fuse or breaker.
3. Check the Switch.sometimes the spring materials of a switch is malfuncioning and it couldn't connect the conductor to run a power.
4. Check your carbon Brush. You must replace it if it is already below 1/4 inch long.
5.Can you feel a little vibration when you switch the unit?if that so,check the bearing because it is surely the bearing has damaged because the armature and core of the motor is already touching each other thats why it will not rotate anymore..

HOW TO INSTALL BLADES

OK just looked at manual for the CHS6000 handisaw and there is a lever on the front that you need to press down on fully and insert the blade from the front and then release lever and it should lock. This tool from what I saw can take the T shank blades or standard ones. If you still have trouble I would go to Dewaltservicenet.com and in the middle of the page towards the bottom you can type in your model number and either read the manual online or print out a copy. This manual is 34 pages long. Let me know if you still have problems.

A 7308(?) black & decker skilsaw (one of the old pea-green models)

First spray a little Liquid Wrench, wait awhile, then slide thin metal home made or not shim, sharpened & tapped in between the blade and the center nut. The idea is to make it one unit again. Later, put spanner on it to gently tap, counter-clockwise.
