Check the screen if it is clogged. That can slow down the water flow.

Kitchen price pfister with spray

If you will look .....first thing would be a good idea to turn water cufoffs under the counter to off position....then remove handle,to do this there should be a set screw (hexagonal screw) on the bottom side of handle lever a heagonal wrench will be needed to remove handle...... Now that you have the handle off you can turn the cold side of the cutoff on or the hot side to find out which one is leaking hot or cold .......if indeed it is a washer ( rubber cup) that is leaking.......hope this helps...

A lot of muddy water ncame thru our fauct now

If you got muddy water to the faucet and thne the water stopped. Then you first will want to remove the aerator. If you do not get water after the aerator is removed then you will need to remove the valve and clean that. If you still do not get watter after you clean the valve then you will need to replace the valve. Make sure that you turn the water off if you are going to remove the valve.

The airrator is part # 941-561 on the link below.

Now if you need to remove the valve part # 974-074 you will remove the handel then part #950-118 will unscrew to get the valve out.

http://www.plumbersurplus.com/pdf/Price_Pfister_Parts_F_034_4ALC.pdf

Once the valve is out take it to another sink and wash out the mud. Also turn the kitchen sink water on a little to clear the mud out of the lines to the faucet.

Here is the manual if you need it on the link below. Page 4 - 5 will tell you how to take apart and clean.

I have a price pfister pull out kitchen sink 533

There is a restriction in the valve or the stop from supply is restricted, check stop at sink to make sure it is opened all the way,if it is then turn off water supply disconnect hot water to faucet take container open valve slowly to see if it is restricted,if that is open and water flow is good. Then it is in the faucet you must then disassemble hot side cartridge and see if there is some type of blockage if none visible the with hot side disassembled slowly open valve to see if you can flush out any foreign matter (note the way it is disassembled so you can reinstall exactly how if was taken out to avoid any reassembly problems).

You have to turn water off to shower and remove handle then cartridge lock ring then there are two washers and srpings that can be popped out with small screwdriver.Lowe's has replacement springs and washers ,be sure to mark position cartridge was because that is very important to reinstall the same way it came out.

Sounds like you have sediment in the water lines. You should be able to remove the cap at the end of the faucet where the water comes out and clean the screen. At the end of the faucet is a cap that screws off. Behind it will be a strainer/screen that you can wash out. Hope this helps you.

Price pfister pull out kitchen faucet starting

Most likely it is under the label , it is normally put on with light adhesive. That is where the set screw is most cases. As far as leak goes, your on right track with 0 rings/gaskets. Be careful however, some time you can just get one at hardware store ( whole unit) already together almost as cheek as repairing this unless it is just a couple 0 rings.

When the faucet is on it comes out fine through

Hi,
There is a diverter valve that shuts off the main faucet and diverts the water to the spray handle... that is where your problem is...
That diverter is sticking and not shifting back to the proper position.
To free it up you can try to take the hose off at the bottom of the main faucet, and then run water through it into a bucket... blowing compressed air backwards through it may also help out...
If you cannot free it of the dirt or what ever is causing it to stick, then the whole faucet may need to be replaced.

My kitchen faucet has low

If you have pressure to the shut off valves then most likely your shut off valves are not fully opening, I would recommend you replace both valves, they build up water deposits in them a lot of the times. The other possibility is the faucet itself has a water saver filter built into it. A lot of the new faucets have water savers built into them now.

The hot and cold are

Hot on left.
Cold on right.
Some single handle faucets have bleed-over where both hot and cold enter mixing valve each time handle is turned on, even when faucet calls for just cold or just hot.
Otherwise maybe a do-it-yourself plumber got pipes backwards... or maybe the tub used to be on other side of wall, and tub was moved during remodeling but pipes were not changed.

To fix problem:
First of all, turn off shower faucet. Turn on Hot at sink and put ear against shower faucet listening for sound of water flowing through the mixing valve.
If mixing valve is working fine, you need to open wall and investigate more.
For example if you have access door, reach in and feel which pipe is hot.
Pipes might need to be reversed if problem comes up in home inspection, otherwise the problem will not harm anything.

Water just trickles out of tap

The problem most likely is a clogged aerator. That is the part that sticks out of the faucet that the water comes out of. You need to unscrew it, take it apart, and then remove any particles that are inside. Sometimes the easiest solution is to buy a new aerator at a hardware store. Take the old one in to make sure you get one that will fit.
Before replacing the aerator, run the faucet without it for a minute or so to clear out any remaining debris.
Unscrewing the aerator: Looking down on the faucet from above the sink, turn the aerator (which will be on the far side of the faucet) clockwise to remove it. You may have to grab it (carefully) with a pair of pliers. Close the drain before you do this so you don't loose any parts down the drain.

There is a "thumping" noise

Sounds like your water pressure may be to high for the faucet, an inline regulator might be all you need. You didn't mention if it thumped once or repeatedly, if its the latter, you may need to install an expansion tank. Next time you turn it on, try it to the left (hot), and to the right (cold) to see if it only makes the sound on the hot side, if so an expansion tank may needed. Good Luck

I installed Series 26 Avalon

Remove and clean the Price Pfister aerator. Turn the water on after you remove the aerator and check the flow-rate. Many new Lavatory and kitchen faucets are now equipped with Eco friendly water saver aerators. if the flow is normal without the aerator, the faucet is OK. if you want more water flow from your lavatory faucet, you will need to buy one of the old style high flow aerators from your hardware store. If you remove the aerator and still get low pressure from both hot and cold faucets, you may need to replace the faucet. Call the Price Pfister warranty phone number that came with your faucet.

Hi adheinen. In order to remove the side sprayer and hose from the diverter tee you must push the hose connector into the diverter and then push the grey ring in. Then pull out the hose connector. Here is a video showing exactly how this is done. Joe
