Our bathroom faucet

this is a common problem its normally the copper piping inside the walls are not secured to the beams well enough and it causes water hammer in the lines...
if its only just started doing it recently you may get away with cleaning out your taps or replacing them but alot of the time you cant do much about it as the pipes are concealled in the walls

How to loosen frozen cotter screw from faucet handle

set screws for most faucets (including price pfister) are hex key driven. If you have corrosion use a product like WD40 or Liquid Wrench penetrating oil to dissolve the corrosion and loosen the set screw normally. Sometimes there is a decorative plug disguising the access to the screw.

I installed a new bathroom faucet for my vessel

Hi,
I use clear silicone caulking all the time to install the drains in granite.
Often when there is a leak it is not at the top botom underneath at the rubber washer or the thread connection of the tailpiece..
It can be hard to tell the difference...
Also after using the silicone, make sure to leave it undisturbed for at least 12 hours to make sure it cures before placing any stress or strain on it...

Re: single handle lav. Ashfield: cold water flow

I have the same problem with my Ashfield faucet.
I am going to contact Price Pfister and try to get a new 'cartridge'.

On another note, my Ashfield towel rings are also broken. The connection where the two pieces meet is so weak it cannot handle daily use. I am going to bring this up with Pfister as well.

It doesn't seem like Price Pfister has very good products.

Price Pfister ashfield collection shower single lever.

This sounds like a proper with your water heater. If you just installed this new shower head. First take it off and make sure that the hot water valve is opening fully if that checks out then go to the water heater and make sure the pipes check out ok and also that the heater is ok. Try putting a water heater blanket on it. Also try getting some pipe cover and cover the hot water line so on really cold days or not you will have warmer water

No shower water

the spout is also the diverter which sends the water up to the shower head. Assumming that the shower head isn't clogged with lime you should be able to solve the problem by removing the spout and taking it to a hardware store or home depot for a replacement. Most spouts just unscrew but some have a set screw which holds em in place. Look for the set screw on the underside of the spout. good luck

My price pfister tub valve leaks

there is an o-ring inside the valve that seals. It has failed. They should sell a rebuild kit where you bought it, or dis-assemble, and take the failed oring in to have it matched to a new one.

No cold water from bathtub fixture/Shower won't engage

If you put on the cold and Nothing at all comes out, check the water supply valve to the tub. If it comes out alittle ...the washer probiblly came off and is stuck you will have to remove the valve ,but 1st check that the handle is not stripped ,and that is actually moving the valve to the open position Turn the handle and see if the handle backs out ,like its trying to open.
Please rember to leave me some positive feedback if Ive been Helpful! Thanks !

Price Pfister hot water runs slow

Check the supply line and valve to see if any dirt or foreign.matter got into the line or valve when you changed out your faucet. if this is not the problem you may have a faulty faucet. You may be able to back flush the faucet with a garden hose by leaving the hot side open, but you will get wet. If you used Teflon tape on the supply line and it is a compression fitting, some of the tape could be blocking the water. for more info go to waterheaterflush.com

Price Pfister Marielle, 26 series, leaks around the top of the spout body when water is turned on. How do I take it apart and fix the leak?

1 under the sink turn off both water supplies 2 disconnect the supply lines at the on/off valve EZer than at faucet 3 under sink unscrew the retaining nut(s) 4 on top wiggle or pry the faucet and lift up and remove. 5 know you can replace the spout and don't forget the new O ring that's why it leaks anyway. you really just need the new washer O ring . 6 Reinstall check for leaks 7 caulk around faucet. Hope this helps Mike
