Chair shows to be charged, but isn't

Unfortunatly, your batteries need to be replaced. The batteries contain a gel that needs to have current run through it on a regular basis (at least 8 hours once a week) or it will solidify. If you attach the charger, what will most likely happen is the green light will either stay green or go to green after a very short time. The charger will indicate the batteries are full, but instead of being full of power, they are full of crud. Your warranty will most likely not cover replacment as this is due to customer neglect, but your insurance may still cover the replacement if you can wait for the process to go through. Otherwise, you will need to replace the batteries on your own, check your owner's manual for the type needed. Good luck!

How do you put this

The complete users manual with pictures is available for download from the Pride website. To disassemble push both front tower levers to release and take off the seat making sure to disconnect the joystick cable at the rear. The cable disconnects by pulling back on the Redel cable locking ring for the connector. The seat will fit better in the back seat of your car or perhaps in the trunk if you remove the arms (loosen the screw knobs). Once the seat is off unplug and pull both batteries out of the base frame. To disassemble the base frame into left side motor/frame, battery frame, right side motor/frame squeeze the frame levers making sure to disconnect the motors first. The best pictures for this are available from the manufacturer's website or by phone order of the owner's manual.

Check this website to find the type of controller your scooter has. The number of blinking lights will give you an idea as to the the problem is. You may need to reset the system after replacing the batteries. Check your manual for troubleshooting diagnostic codes.

Kathleen The unlock procedure for the 1113 is to press the on/off key twice. If you have tried this and it still doesn't work you will have to contact your provider to check the chair. There might be a problem with the controller/joystick that you cannot fix. If Medicare paid for your chair you can contact a repair service who will bill Medicare for the repair and Medicare will pay most of the repair cost. There are 2 services that I recommend Repair Xpress @ 1-877-581-3733 or Roadrunner Mobility @ 1-800-467-2668 I know you would like a quick fix but if it doesn't unlock we're outta luck Hope this helps you

Dad has a jazzy select

VB the batteries are too weak for the chargers to pick up. Unfortunately you will have to puchase new batteries. Now since the facility was responsible for not keeping the batteries charged I would ask that they pay for the new ones. Good luck with that. The batteries you need are U1 batteries. If you have a battery warehouse type store near you they should have the batteries or an Interstate Battery outlet store. The batteries should be around $200.00 for two. Try not to get them at a local provider cause they'll charge you more. Hopes this Helps you

The onboard charger on my Jazzy 1113 does not work

If you have checked the charger and are sure it isn't working. Then you have two options: You can buy a new on-board charger or try to locate a good used off-board charger from someone in your local area. Or maybe borrow one from a neighbor that has a power chair to see if it will charge your batteries. You just plug the off-board charger into the charger port located under the front of your joystick. Off-board chargers should be cheaper than an on-board from Pride. Hope this helps

Where can i get a new battery for my jazzy 1113ATS

I think you need 2 x 8GU1H MK batteries of 31Ah rating. Best to replace both as the older one will drag the new battery down and void warrenty. You can get these on line or from a Mobility repair centre. Not sure where you are or what country. In the uk these are around £80 each retail. Look on Pride web site who make this chair, for more info.

Charge wont hold long

Usually that means one of the two batteries is bad. The charger will indicate the full charge of the good battery. Have the batteries load tested at your local interstate battery or autoparts store. May need to replace only one battery. It is recommended both be changed at same time though.

Battery charger will not work after replacing

Hi. Check that batteries are correctly connected. I have had a lot of trouble with faulty battery connectors. Most machines need better connectors that can handle higher currents. Are the LED's on the charger showing correctly. The charger wont operate correctly if it is not conected to the batteries correctly. Check for broken wires in the chager socket. Good luck. Neil.

New batteries does not seem to fully charge.

The measurements below are for a 12 volt charger or across one battery at a time. In a 24 volt charger or across both batteries at once, double the values.
The charger will not show any output unless connected to a battery. To test the charger, attach the charger to the battery but do not plug in the charger. Connect a meter to the battery and read the voltage (9.8v - 11.6v).
Now plug in the charger. Read the battery again (13.6 - 14.2v).
The voltage must not be higher than 14.8 on the battery or the battery will over-charge - the charger needs service. If the voltage does not come up to 13.2v, the charger is not running. Again, the charger needs service.
Be patient. You can wait ten minutes and measure again. Batteries respond slowly to the charger.

Pride Zero Turn 10 - 4 beep code randomly while driving.

It is called the "current limit time out." Apparently the battery needs to recuperate or adjust its charge across the cells. That is another question. What it needs is a few minutes to be turned off. I know this from seeing the manual. https://youtu.be/PB2JsjU9m3A?si=QEXCzBoW3ni5mWyi&t=122
