Coleman Pressure Washer PW0881800 Questions & Answers
When i try to use a cleaning additive, my pressure
most pressure washers have a special nozzle when using the cleaning part to reduce the pressure and **** the solution from the tank. Check your owners manual and if not give me the brand and model number and I will check into it.

When the spry trigger is pressed the engine boggs
This issue is caused by defective unloader or debris trapped in spray nozzle or faulty gun. Easy to check. Check system with-out spray nozzle. The engine should not labor at all when you depress trigger without nozzle. If it labors/ dies faulty gun, if no labor, install new or clean nozzle (check for correct gpm for machine) and retest. If ok, you are done, if engine labors or dies, reduce pressure by turning pressure knob as required. If reducing pressure has no effect, most likely faulty unloader. Good luck
It shuts off during use then starts right back up.
Most of the time it is due to fuel lock - very hot engine. Easy to check, run engine with gas cap loose (not with full tank, fuel may spill out). Replace cap or open vent if necessary. Other problems include low or dirty oil causing oil senser to shut down engine, or hot engine due to obstruction of airway under cover and finally pressure set too high. I find that most pressure washers are set to max pressure. I like to set pressure to 70 % of capacity making components last longer. How long would a car/truck last if you drove it at max speed everywhere? Good luck with your repair.

I suggest you change out the handle. It does not have to be the exact same one, since you can "adapt" the connection to virtually any power washer handle. If you have a "Northern Tool and Equipment" nearby, they stock a variety of handles...The complete assembly, handle wand and all starts at about $30...and goes up from there. If you do not, you can order on line. Here is a link to help you locate a store, brouse parts, and/or order online. Hope this helps. Good luck!
