Oil type for air compressor

You can go to any Home Depot and buy compressor oil for your compressor. Your operators manual should tell you what the level should be, however if you don't have one, filling it with oil until it fills the glass tube about half way should be sufficient.

Air leaking from air pressure

It is normal for there to be a hiss from the pressure switch for a second when the unit stops, this allow any pressure in the line to be dissipated so next time the unit starts it doesn't have a pressure to start against. If it is constantly leaking it will be a problem with the non return valve. It is normally a brass fitting on the tank that the compressor pipe goes to. It may just have a bit of debris not allowing it to close properly, You need to drain down all air and remove the cap on the brass fitting, there should be a rubber shuttle with a spring behind, if it is hard an cracked it will need replacing or it may just need a clean.

Hope this helps,

James

Where do I get a cylinder head for a clarke champ

This company in liquidation in the US, however many of the same compressors are available in the UK re-branded with different model numbers/names (alpha name instead). Go down the list opening manuals until you find similar looking parts. You may find same pump/motor components on a different tank, however use manual information as needed. China made compressor as yours will be sold by many different retailers under different names. Look on ebay first "searching pancake" compressor for likeness. The manuals listed below should clue you in. Good luck.
