Maytag 2.0 Cu. Ft. Over-the-Range Microwave - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
Sparking when turned on
Had to of these to do this at work means it's time to replace it not worth fixing u can replace it for allmost for what's its worth
My Maytag microwave stopped heating. Everything
Generally the magnetron (the part that heats the food) is the cause if everything else still works. Unfortunately replacing the magnetron is barely cheaper than buying a new microwave though you can check out repairclinic.com to decide whether you want to attempt replacing the part.
Let me know how this works out for you.

Received an error code SE on my microwave range
"SE" means you have a shorted / shorting membrane keypad. It's not uncommon for it to be intermittent or partially operable.
On some models, the membrane keypad is not available as a separate part,
so you would have to order the control panel frame assembly which comes
with a new keypad.
In this case, you simply move your circuit board into the new frame. That is a simple do it yourself job.
You can find
helpful exploded view diagrams and order parts by entering your full model number (with suffix) from the tag on the oven here.
At
our Web site, we have a video available showing how to remove a typical
over the range control panel assembly in under 5 minutes.
Then you unplug the keypad (as per the photo below) and move the circuit board into your frame.
Some connectors on the relays may have a lock:
On other models, you peel off the old one and stick on a new one.
If
you (or someone you know) might want to replace it yourself, I have
uploaded a handy guide with pictures showing you what's typically
involved. It's here.
Or we can do that for you.

Not heating food
Hi,
Here is a tip that will help you to figure out what is wrong with yourMicrowave Oven....
Microwave Oven Basic Troubleshooting Tips
heatman101
My microwave wont start. It accepts time and power
sounds like you have acontrol issue or maybe the transformer has failed not sending power over tho the mag... may even be one of the door switched has failed and the unit thinks the door is still opened......i would recommend calling manufacture as a unit only nine months should still be fully under warranty at worst you should only have to pay service fee for a servicer to come look at it...
What is the minimum distance from the top of oven
It depends greatly on the ventilation but if you use 20" above the hob, as a good starting point. If you have extractor fans, maybe less. Don't forget the grill gets hot on top of the oven but there should be at least 10" clearence between the grill top and the microwave base, more if it is gas!
How to install a microwave oven. need insalation
That model is not showing up. You should check the tag on it to be sure.

We recently had a power outage & my Maytag
the fuse is usually mounted inside the unit on the same side as the control panel near the back end where the power cord is.......the cover must be removed to get access to it.
#mmv4203dw installation, the old one is out
The new microwave oven dimensions are 29 7/8" wide, with a depth of 15 1/2" and a height of 16 15/16". These measurements are listed on page 3 of your installation manual. If you do not have an installation manual, you can go to managemylife.com and type in the model number you provided under the "Manuals" link. The owner's and installation manuals are both listed in .pdf (Adobe) format that you can download or print for FREE.
So...to answer your initial question, "Yes", this model microwave oven will fit in the space that your old one previously occupied.
If you have any questions, please post back and let me know. I hope this helps you.
My microwave became very loud and will not heat.
If it is a loud buzzing noise it is either the diode or magnetron. Working with the high voltage of a Microwave oven I would never recommend anyone other than a trained professional to attempt this repair.
Off/On is switched
Talk about vice versa? Well it should be the exact opposite. It MUST have a microprocessor fault, unless someone swapped the wires... You will have to get it "looked at" this is a weird one.
The microwave oven works (power, lights, tray
In all likelihood the mangnetron has failed, or perhaps even the Power Supply. or a fault that is shutting the system down for safety reasons You need to have it serviced by a reputable service centre/man.
Ensure you get a firm "Quote" before proceeding, and remember these days the cost of repair can equal or exceed the price of a new one
