My toshiba A210 laptop will not power up all

It looks like you are saying that you can't power up the computer at all.
First, check the power adapter to see if it is putting out the voltage it is supposed to--about 18 volts.
If it is putting out the voltage and you hook it to the computer, your battery should charge and the computer should start. If it does not, then you have a bigger problem. It could indicate bad memory (but probably not, as there should be some flashing of the lights on startup) or a motherboard problem.

How to reset password for toshiba laptop a210

Hello,

I assume you mean the pasword to enter your operating system. If this is the case, when you start your pc, press F8 to enter windows start menu, select Safe Mode, when windows boot, go to control panel, users, and delete any passwords. Once done, restart your pc, the password will have been removed and you should be able to start windows with no problem.

Good Luck

Toshiba laptop frozen on logging off screen

I unplugged the a/c adapter, took the battery out then plugged in again and everything was fine. Otherwise, when I tried to turn off it would just sleep. But that's the way I solved it.

FROZEN IN LOGGING OFF MODE

go to control panel , sounds - under windows sign off choose no sound for this event.

If all else fails depress the power button until it powers off (longer than 5-10 seconds) or remove battery. after restart go into bios setup and reset default values and re-start your computer

Toshiba Satelite A-210 won't turn on

If you have more then one stick of RAM in the laptop then go ahead and take them both out. Put one stick of RAM in one slot and turn on the laptop and see if you get video, if not then stick the RAM into the other slot and turn on the laptop. If you still dont get video then try the other stick of RAM in one slot and turn it on, and then if no video then try the other slot and turn it on. If still no luck then try a 3rd stick of RAM in each slot if possible. If you still dont' get video, then make sure at least one stick or RAM is in a slot then go ahead and take out the battery and only hook up the ac adapter and then see if you get video. If that doesn't work then take out the hard drive and also take out the dvd drive. If after these last two steps if you still don't get video then the motherboard is bad and would need to be replaced to fix the problem. Let me know if you need some help. Ben

No sound from Toshiba A200 speakers

Hi,
check the volume control, bottom right, in the notification area,
double click the icon, and raise it.
Or, Go to,
Start, control panel, sounds, double click on speakers, check it's enabled,

Or,
start, in search box, type run, in run box type DXDIAG,
enter the test area, test your sound in here.
should say no problems,
check connections to speaker are all good, if external.
Hope this helps.

Toshiba satellite Pro A200

This is an old problem, I assume you've figured it out by now, but I'll post for any others who may have this problem.

The SATA controller needs to be changed in the BIOS, I think the default is ACPI or something that and it needs to be changed to IDE, if not then it's vice versa.... Just whichever one is it, change it to the other

Satellite A210

Your hard drive is failing/failed. A reputable repair person should be able to remove the drive and slave it to another computer. Then if it will come on as a slave, he/she can get the data off. If it's dead as a slave then a professional recovery is the only way to recover data. In any case you're going to need a new hard drive.

Good Luck
