If this is a problem on multiple DVD's then try to run a DVD disc cleaner. If it's only on a particular one, then either it's not formatted properly or physically damaged.

the power details are

So the device uses a AC to DC adapter that takes in 100-240v 50-60hz. and gives out 9v, 1.5A
you can find the polarity of the connector from the bottom of the player most likely or close to the power plug, it will show which pin is minus and witch one is plus. If wired the wrong way the dvd player will get fried.

So basically you need a power adapter that gives out 9v and around 1.5A and has the right polarity and fits into the player.

These two adapters are made for your player, they will fit and work, you don't need to worry about a thing with them. but if you use any other adapters you need to double check the mentioned details (voltage, polarity)

If optical laser lens got dirty or defective, dvd player will show 'no disc' display after a while.
Clean optical laser lens with good quality cotton swab gently, put dvd disc in payer and check.
If problem does not solve then optical laser block will be replaced to solve the issue and local tv repair shop will do the job because it needs expertise and skills.

The main PCB board have burn parts,take it aparts and check it by ur self.Replaced parts by ur self.If u want it to repair by the shop don't,not worth repairing.U can get new one pretty cheap.

Make sure the latest driver is downloaded for your drive. Then if needed, re-install the software like windvd.

have you tryed cleaning the lens and dvd?

clean it with disc cleaner or its might that the laser has gone out of alignment. or the disc is region 1 usa ,region 2 europe

There is software, such as "ANYDVD" that should work. Also, "DVD Region and CSS free" software about $40 US. There is free software called "DVD Region Killer" as well (I have no experience with the free downloadable software).

the effect ot moisture due to humidity.this may cause this .two possibilities keep the unit ON for some hours it will automatically get perfect.or the other that the circuit internally has gone short so its showing this problem.if short it needs reparing. if under warranty will get replacement. thanks.
