My Scunci MS 1000 heats and builds up steam, but the steam does not release from the spout when the release button is pushed. Plenty of pressure is built up inside (escapes when cap is opened). What is the problem?

There is probably lime built up blocking the hole, try taking a needle or safety pin and push into the hole on the sprayer head. Shut it off first and remove the top sprayer part push pin through and then run backwards through the hole you might not be able to see anything come out unless you do it over a paper towel or coffee filter.

Same issue with my model. Heated up but would not produce... I called it SED (Scunci Erectile Disfunction) My doctor prescribed him some lube, and it worked! Now days Im happy to say we share a heathy steamy relationship!

Say goodbye to SED forever with the help from lube! All you have to do is open up the unit, locate the circular brass colored button, apply a squirt of lube (wd-40), create a decent amount of pressure and play with the little button until you notice smooth in-out motions. Put the unit back together and BAM you two will be back to a hot and steamy relationship, just like you had when you first met! ;)

no steam in scunci steamer, it does gets warm but no steam at all. like if it was blocked

This is the biggest run around! We all should be able to find a manual on the internet for this scunci? I have waisted more time trying to locate the instructions and end up in the same place everytime which is nowhere. Does anyone no where to find it? This is also dangerous and a liability not to have instruction manuals available. We are trying to get it to work and not having any luck. We can't even get the lid off.

Adding a little salt to the water seems to help the steam come stronger. Good Luck!
