If the motherboard is a 4 slot dual channel memory configuration you have to install the memory in slot 1 and 3 or 2 and 4.

1. pls read the user manual first to identify which pinds of password jumper to normal position
2. Reinstall the jumper in a different position. For example, if you removed the jumper from pins 2 and 3, reinstall the jumper over pins 1 and 2.
3. Replace the computer cover and reconnect the power cable and monitor.

You can now assign a new system and/or setup password. For more password information, refer to the Passwords section of your computer'sservice manual.

Now look bottom the page, anddownload one after one. Now you can download easily one after one. After downloadall the driver, unzip the fie with winrar or zip. Download the winrar free, Copy the link and paste on address bar. http://www.filehippo.com/search?q=winrar Install it. Now right click on every downloaded file and select EXTRACRTTO THE FILE FOR......, then create a new folder with the driver file, you caninstall easily. Hope it will help you.

It would be best to download the VGA, or graphics driver, and the Audio driver, from the computer manufacturer's support website.

{Burn the drivers to a CD. Turn the computer on with the Intel D102GGC2 motherboard in it.
Put the CD in the computer's optical drive. Close the optical drive tray.
If the CD does not automatically open, go to My Computer, and double-click on the CD name.

The computer should have a basic graphics display going, so that you can see the screen.
It looks like something out of the Flintstones, but you can make out what is going on, so you can install the correct graphics drivers }

This link should have EVERYTHING you need. Most, if not all of the contents of the drivers disc are on this page.

Please be sure to click on the correct Windows version in the box where it says Select an Operating System & click on DRIVERS in the box next to it.

I would suggest downloading all these drivers into a single folder & burn that folder to a disc. That way, you have your own backup copy of the driver disc just in case you'll need it again in the future.

Sometimes it passes a poorly designed ram test, probably faulty ram, speeds always default to the slower of a pair. Some computers need all slots full. Did you buy it new? We have Re-PC for used components in the Seattle area, a great resource.

FSB speed is what the RAM works at. If you get faster RAM that is ok, it will work but only at the FSB speed. If you get slower RAM then it works at the slower speed or may cause issues.

I had the same issue on this board where it came with a Samsung 512 MB 533 MHz PC2-4200 DDR2 DIMM. I put in a 1 GB Kingston with the same specs (533 MHz PC2-4200 DDR2) and it would not recongize the Samsung anymore with the system reading as 1 GB of RAM instead of 1.5 GB. Tried every configuration and would only see the Kingston. It would only see the Samsung if I pulled out the Kingston regarless of the slots I use. So, I just bought the exact same make/model of Kingston and it recognized that fine and the system now has 2 GB of memory (max this board allows). And, I had already installed the latest BIOS for this board from Intel before doing all this so wasn't an old BIOS. I'm figuring the board didn't like something about the Samsung memory (speed, module configuration, etc.) that made it not play nice with the Kingston. If interested I bought the DM8400A/1G Kingston modules. And, this board appears not to support dual channel memory. Only has channel A, slots 0 and 1, and I read need two channels to support dual channel (seems obvious). Boards that supports dual channel memory normally have 4 memory slots, two for channel A and two for channel B, then put in matching modules in slot 0 for channel A and B and have dual channel memory access. And if want more ram, then matching modules in slot 1 for channel A and B.
