Hi KiranIt sounds as though your battery may be failing to charge properly. This can either be due to insufficient charging time or the battery going faulty. Also your machine could be simply drawing unneeded power during use. Ways to extend battery time include dimming the display, turning off wireless connections, it all depends on what you are doing while the machine is on battery. Have you previously achieved the 3 hour battery life? if so then it is likely that the battery may be going faulty. Try to do a full charge/discharge cycle a few times to see if the life improves. In the TOOLS section, STARTUP section, Disable ALL unnessary startup programs. 2, Run a full scan with MALWAREBYTES download at : http://www.filehippo.com/download_malwarebytes_anti_malware/ in the install UNCHECK the TRIAL PRO version, you want the freeware version. You can add more Memory, up to 4GB's with a 32bit OS, that will help some. Mostly you want to disable unnessary running/startup programs. Run a full scan with your up-to-date Anti Virus. Is it like when you turn on your computer it asks you for a BIOS password.


You need to open the notebook from the back and locate the small battery which looks like the shape of coin,
After locating it take that battery out and turn on your computer,
Once your computer is fully loaded then turn if Off,
Then put the battery back and turn on your computer
Try to go into BIOS.
I am sure you will be able to go into BIOS.

Power on the laptop computer and wait for the operating system to boot.

Right-click the wireless Internet icon in the lower right corner of the desktop.

This brings up a new pull-down menu.

Select "View Available Wireless Networks."

This brings up a selection of different possible Internet connections that are in range of the computer.

Select the wireless Internet connection you want to use.
