Is there a part number of the In Dash DVD/CD? I mean I could pull a manual would give you a hint how to use the deck.... This is the best I can do without knowing the model number of your deck... Hope this helps

New player? Under warranty? Take it to whoever installed it. Sounds like a weak laser, or a laser alignment problem. Could also simply be a dirty laser lens, but proper cleaning requires disassembly (those laser cleaning discs are hit-n-miss, and I've seen them actually damage the laser pickup, so I do not recommend them).

it is muted. try to look for the speaker icon with an "X" that indicates muted speakers. If no such icon, your volume is ZERO. Now press the + key with the speaker icon which indicates the volume control.

yes its saying in toorder to play dvd's u must engage parking brake which means the wire is suppose to be hooked up to the parking brake....BUT i know the trick to make it work where u can play dvd's and drive

in the directions it should either tell you to attach a wire from the radio to the ebrake so you can get video. i dont like that idea . first try and ground and ground the wire to the back of the unit. some manufactures incorparate a sequense ex- pull e brake three times then the video will work . what i have done with these is put a small button in the center console or somewhere out of the way . if you want to hook it up the way they want it i need to know what kind of car you have ...

ground wire to a normal 2 position toggle switch. put dvd in. turn switch on then off then on. there ya go.

sounds like a bad spot in your ribbon cable. it runs form the laser assembly to the circuit brd. you could have some dirt on the sled rails..either way the radio will have to be taken apart..if you can do this yourself the ribbon cable is not too expensive...labor is what gets you..

Welllll just connect it to GROUND! which is anywhere on the frame. its a negative flow.

check this out man, go to fm/am mode. with the remote hit the setup botton. then enter 543210 and be sure it beeps on every diget. then hit the hammer/screwdriver icon and turn the parking brake "on"
