hi input wiring hooks up to speaker wire outputs on the stereo. in 2008 chrysler has no ignition or accessory outputs. everything is digital, if you use a trunkloc from PAC electronics you will be able to hookup your outputs from the deck into this unit and it will provide you with the RCA, and remote power output needed for your system to operate. the factory deck should have battery and ground at the plug but no acc.

You did not mention where the amplifier is located, so i will assume that it is in the most common installation area - the trunk. Is your trunk sealing properly? Do you have any standing water in the trunk or water leaking into the trunk? If so, correct this and you should be fine. Otherwise, installing a small fan near the amp can draw moisture away from it and help dry this air out - thus preventing condensation from forming.

It is a safety feature so you won't won't drive while watching a video or movie while driving.It makes you wonder why they would even make an up front dvd player with a screen if it is illegal !
