I was just adding more storage to my pe 1800 and
A Blinking Amber or Yellow power button means that the power supply is receiving power from the source but is unable to properly distribute it to the components. This can be caused by a defective power supply or a defective motherboard. Just to make sure that nothing else is causing the problem, remove any PCI cards like modem, video card, sound card, etc... Remove the memory modules and disconnect cables to CD/DVD drives. Look at the USB ports to see if any are damaged. Beeping usually means a memory issue.
Sound card
Seems like something happend with your drivers because apperantly seems like your Sound and VGA drivers are missing you need to re-install it.
Dell poweredge 1800 scsi drive not found
Hi,
check if the drive is showing in the bios of the server,
shut down the server, take out the power cable, press and hold the power button so as to realease flea power, open the server, and reseat the data cable at both ends and if there is another power cable available in the server swap it with the existing cable plugged into the scsi drive.
and now try to start your server.
