When my ice maker flips

NOTE: This
is a multi-solution answer since I don't have all the tech from your question to pinpoint your problem
But the solution is in here generically, if you read and study the solutions very, very carefully.
Check Temp inside freezer. It has to be down to about 10 or 15 degrees
This can cause slow ice making if its too high even tho its freezing everything else at 25 degrees
The ref. temp should be about 33-35
The Freezer temp should be 0 to 10 Any thing below these temps is overkill and a waste of elect
The higher the number you turn it up to is the coldest
The icemaker is 110v
See if water is in icemaker.
Pour water in Ice Maker and wait to see if it ejects.
If it ejects thenyou need to replace water valve in rear bottom of fridge(Its the part that
attaches to water line out of wall)
If it doesn't eject then it is a faulty Ice Maker.
If its leaking or no water at icemaker or door either one, then the valve at the rear bottom of ref needs replacing
I would check the fan in the freezer. Listen to see if it is running
It moves air to the ref from the freezer
Then check to see if freezer control is turned WARMER, which makes the Ref. colder
Also if it is getting drinking water to the door but not to the icemaker (or vice versa) Then you need to replace
the water valve at the bottom rear of the fridge. It is a double valve and one side is not working
Also this might be a common Defrost problem, Ice
is not being melted by the defrost system. The fan can't blow through the coils into the fridge.
Take out back panel of freezer to check for ice buildup. The coils should be clean.
There are three components to a defrost system- a heater, heater thermostat, and a timer unless you have a defrost electronic card.
Its best handled by a Technician but you could possibly do it by taking your model number to the nearest appliance parts store and asking for the parts. They are mostly located in freezer ,behind back panel on freezer coils.except the card which is usually located in ref The parts store will have info
Also check fan undernearh Ref in the rear
Clean condenser coils underneath

I have an LG LFC25760ST

You have a bad door switch at the top hinge cover. More than likely, a wire has come loose. Can't tell which one since there are 2 of them. You will need to disconnect the wires and check with a ohm meter.
Good luck.

With all the sophistication, all these codes are normally simple problems. With yours, i would suggest a good 12 hour defrost with no cheating as the insulation is good. When complete, wipe up melted water and switch back on. Most of the time just leaving the door open for a little to long can cause havoc with the defrost circuit. Let me know.

The refrigerator doors shock you when you try to

Get the earthing checked for the refrigerator power wire connected to electric outlet.Or try to connect refrigerator power wire to any other electric outlet and see if there also the same problem exists. If there is earthing problem then its possible that there will be shock to the metallic body of refrigerator.A local electrician will get the earthing checked in minutes by meter. On the power cord there are three wires. One is positive, one is negative and one is earthing.Negative and positive are for current in refrigerator and earthing is for current through ground. If this earthing wire is not connected then this happens.Just get the earthing checked. This will help.Thanks.Helpmech.

My LG refrigerator door switches work, as

Same problem with my LG. Mine almost started a fire and melted a good part of the interior, I'm glad I was home to catch it. I called LG and they are fixing it for free, even though it is out of warranty. This makes me think it is a very common problem. Now going from what my repairman has said, it is an issue with a control board inside the fridge. It quits working and the lights no longer shut-off. The only solution is to replace the board. My repairman is going above and beyond for me and replacing the melted parts (obviously), the light housings, the door switches and wiring, the main board, and I think another board for the lights. Try calling LG and telling them the problem, they may help you out too. There really should be a recall on this, but I guess it will take a serious fire before that happens :(

We have a dent in each door of our stainless steel

Yes, if you want to part with the $$$. Find a LG service provider at http://www.lge.com/us/support/repair/support-repair-provider-lookup.jsp to order the parts for you. Make sure you have the model number with you, and some times the serial number (first 3 digits) may be needed.

The unit that incases the temperature controls has

Just turn off your refrigerator and detached the thermostat control (temperature control), you can do that just by using some cross screw drivers, at the back ot that thermostat control is a part number where you can buy on the service center or any refrigerator parts supplier, just give them the model and the part number and they will give you exactly the same piece, then just put it back again the same way how you take it off. then turn on your refrigerator..

Take NOTE: if you are taking some parts of your appliances (any parts) just all remeber this..

The first thing you take out will be the last thing you will put back...

The interior site stays on and melted the plastic

Hi, take out the light bulb and clean the inside after disconnecting the cables from the AC. making sure that the insides are very dry. The inside switch may be defective and does not turn off you may need to replace it the issue is between the light connection and the switch so I will check these two places first.

LG Refridgerator LFC257060ST Keeps Beeping

Please check whether the doors are aliened properly to the body and if there is a small warp it could result in escaping of cooling resulting in poor cooling of both the freezer and the refrigerator chamber.

The magnetic gasket is the next reason for poor cooling. So please ensure that the gaskets are having magnet attached to the full length. Broken magnetic strip inside the gasket could also result in partial closing of the door leaving behind plenty of gap allowing the cooling to escape.

Just insert a visiting card between the gasket and the body and if you could do so then the gasket is not effective and requires replacement.
