I take it the two fuses you mention were the house fusebox and the fuse in the outlet in your kitchen? If you know the mains is getting to the hob and nothing at all is lighting up on the panel then this sounds like a job for the professionals. I can't find any mention of a reset button or user acessable fuse in the manual. The only thing left to do is check the main wire connection underneath the hob - if it is accessable. The igniter is not working and should be replaced and there is also a problem with the igniter as well.

did you get it fixed?

not sure as to what you can do , if it did get too hot, maybe wrong pan, but could also be wrong temp in unit, only way to find out is to try and use warrenty
