Avr3300 denon receiver sound cut in out
The problem is in the audio output section, or cracked solder connections on the main printed circuit board. But! check the speaker wires for shorts first, if okay! you will need a professional to take this further.
No sound on left speaker
Check to make sure it is not a speaker issue, swap them over, if no change,it is an audio output problem on the left channel, suggest professional to assess system.

hi Check IC403 on the AUDIO/DSP unit. I have had it cause some input problems. If pressure is lifted on the ic then it will break contact on the board. It may just need to be reseated or the socket needs to be re-soldered.Hope this helps.

The best audio for any source will always come digitally from the first device in which it appears. The Cable Box would be that device.
How to connect and set
Hi,
- if you want to listen your TV on your Stereo system thru your receiver, AVR-3300 ** you need to connect "Audio Output " RCA jacks or "Optic cable output" of your TV
** to "AUX input "
or "TV" OR "Any input" of your receiver ( except Phone ) or "Optic Cable input"
** than just switch to
respective mode on AVR-3300
RECEIVER corresponding your RCA or Optic connection...
There you go..Your TV sound is on the AVR-3300
Receiver..By this means whatever you watch on the TV (tuner, satellite , Xbox ) ,it's sound will come thru your stereo..

How to access denon avr-3300 system setup
Hi,
First make sure that your remote control is set to "Amp" as it can control many different devices.
Then make sure that you have connected the Monitor Out socket on the receiver to your TV.
Next make sure your TV is set to show the picture from the input you connected to the Denon monitor out.
Now press set-up button on the remote and the System Setup menu should appear on your TV.
If this helps then please rate my answer,

The symptoms you describe are typical of a bad connection. In your case it could be in the interconnections in the unit, in a printed circuit board, or (hopefully) in a switch or control. I say hopefully because that's probably the only one you're going to fix on your own. Get a can of contact cleaner (Radio Shack or similar) and spray all switches and controls. You may have to repeat the treatment but if 2 times through doesn't help, you're out of luck there. The other possible problems involve some internal troubleshooting and probably professional help.

You can only use the tone control and channel volume at the bottom right corner of the front panel. Push them and use the select knob to increase. Push the "surround perimeters" and select the one you like.
