How do i get the back of my aspire 25700 off so i can clean inside?
Get a can of compressed air and blow into all the vents; should have a pile of dust come out. If it doesn't and is under warranty, contact Acer for warranty service, if it's not, take it to a local technician; it may be the thermal grease for the processor or a seazed fan.

For removing the cpu fan. remove the cables connected to the motherboard then remove the fan from the cpu chip, now always remember in installing a new cpu chip always apply a thermal compound before locking the fan to the chip.

How do i remove the internal CD drive in my Acer
I assume you are talking about the cd drive into a desktop aspire ...The procedure is to remove the side cover and have access inside teh desktop ..(the left one ) ..after that locate the drive ,.,remove the power source cable and the ide controller...and after that it will have 2 screws on each side (repeat procedure by removing the other cover-right one ) ..and after all 4 screws are removed..the cd drive will slide out ..in forward ..(it is mounted on a slide )
For some desktops it will not be held in place with screws ..but it have a locking mechanism and you need to pull aside or back ...and it will unblock the drive and will slide out toward front side ..

Need to replace the clock
You are talking about the CMOS battery. It takes a CR2032 and it can be found on the motherboard. It's about the size of a quarter. Just carefully remove the old one and replace it.
I'm curious to know why you think the battery needs to be replaced. If you clock keeps the wrong time, the battery could be defective, but more likely is the possibility that you computer just can't keep time correctly.
You could try to install a utility like "Atomic Clock" to keep the system updated.

Power Supply Failure ?
I plugged
It could very well be a power supply issue. Try narrowing down the source of the problem:
Does this power problem no matter what USB device you plug into your computer? If it is just one device, then it is something wrong with that particular device. I'd recommend replacing or getting it repaired.
If it happens with all devices it could be a problem with the power supply or USB port on your computer. Try a different USB port on your computer or have it looked at by a local technician.
I want to downgrade ACER
You'll have to purchase the XP software, set your computer to boot from cd (in the cmos settings), put the disk in the cd and restart you computer. When the screen comes up to "...hit any key to boot from cd" hit any key. The system will boot to the XP cd and will allow you to delete the old partition, reformat your drive, and install XP. Next go to
www.acer.com and download your drivers. Finally install your programs and data on to your hard drive. Have fun!
NOTE: Make absolutely sure that you backup the programs and data that you want to keep before starting the XP install!
