Hi The memory in this machine appears to be RAM according to the manual which you can get here in pdf format for saving to your computer for future reference http://content.epson.de/fileadmin/content/files/RSD/AnwenderhandPDFs/DE/TM-T60_T80_user_e.PDF Since the memory is RAM turn the machine off an unplug from the mains power supply.
