Check the lights on the printer
Power in solid green - printer is in ready mode, else:
- disconnect and try another power source or power-adapter.
Paper Feed in solid red - no paper:
- make sure paper is of the correct type and dimension. re-seat the paper.
Error in solid or flashing - hardware problem:
- turn off the printer.
- open and access the DIP switches, make note of the current settings, then set it all to zero.
- remove the Connect-It module at the back and re-install it.
To test the printer do the following:
1. Disconnect the printer from the computer.
2. Turn the printer off. Make sure that there is paper and properly loaded.
3. Press and hold the
Paper Feed button while turning the printer back on.
4. A self-test print-out that contains information such as firmware version and settings depending on the detected connection type.
