HOW TO SEPARATE PUMP FROM MOTOR
There are 4 bolts on the back of the Haight pump on both the 5 or the 8 gpm model. Remove these 4 bolts and using a dead blow hammer, give the pump a sharp blow to the top then the bottom & this should seperate the two. 90% of problems with these pump & motor assy's are from poor oil filtering practices, not having the crumb catcher in place & crumbs getting past the paper & into the pump. The tolerences between the two cams are very tight & believe it or not, a pencil eraser size bunch of crumbs can jam this pump. I go on 3 calls average a month on Dean fryer pumps and after they sit there and run/hum and trip the pump breaker, you WILL burn the motor up. I have a perfectly good used assy from a Dean fryer if needed.

How to clean blocked pilot orfice
One time this happened to me on a gas stove. I used an electric drill with drill bit to clean it out. It will only work if the line is straight, no bends in the line.
Can anybody tell me what's wrong with this? Any suggestions please and thank you.
The burner or the burner venturi is clogged. The burners are held in place with 2 bolts at the top and you need a 1/2 inch wrench. Remove the bolts and lift the burners off the brass orifices. Make sure all the holes are clear. If they are clogged they need to be drilled out. You should not have yellow in the flames in the burner tube.... kinda looks like the are sooting. This causes flames to come out the bottom of the burners.
Pilot light lights but is a low flame
There is an adjustment screw on the main gas valve, usually under a cover screw. It will be near where the small pipe that goes to the pilot light.
