Frymaster Dean SR42G Deep Fryer Questions & Answers
My pilot light will not
Make sure the thermocouple is deeper into the flame of the pilot light. It needs to reach a high enough temperature to produce a high enough voltage to keep the pilot light lit all the time. I do not think that the main gas valve is bad at all.
Gas valve is leaking
There is no repair to fix the leaking gas valve other than to replace the gas valve with a brand new one.
Frymaster Dean Deep Fryers pilots light automatically go off
Will this heat up at all. Is it the same Model # as the one you .have some changes from the one you have for 2 years ago might have been made. check model # and make sure it is the same The light that go's out might be when the unit come up to the setting you put you Thermostat on meaning it heated up and will come back on when the temp drops and it starts to heat back up. it's that simple. if you just got this unit it should work if you turn the heating setting up . Let me know if the unit heats that is the starting point.
With thermostat off still lets gas thru
Either the thermostat or the gas valve has failed. Locate and disconnect one of the wires going to the thermostat, if unit continues to heat the gas valve has failed, if not, the thermostat is likely stuck closed (on).
Why is my fryer rapidly bubbling
Hi there!Check the deeper part of the fry pot, crumbs or food debris may have accumulated there causing oil to produce excessive bubbles during frying. Also, overloading with products more than usual water content will also result in this.Regards.
