I have a basically new Dean SR42 propane, used only once for an event last year, that has a pilot light but the main burner will not come on after the gas valve it rotated to on position and thermosta

I recommend that you get in touch with the company. Or the 1 800 number in the instruction handbook. Or Google by the name of the company. They may correct the problem.

My unit pilot light will light the unit will come on when the thermostat is set and will come to temperature but for no reason will blow the flame out and the pilot as well.

The flame sensor is weak . This will allow the gas valve to turn off the pilot light flame

The fire on my fry master has a very light flame, and it is currently using LPG full cylinder gas.

you may check your solinoid if is properly supplied. if equiped with other safety limiter have it checked for example. drain swithces hi limit thermostat float switch some of this may not work properly.

My pilot light will not

Make sure the thermocouple is deeper into the flame of the pilot light. It needs to reach a high enough temperature to produce a high enough voltage to keep the pilot light lit all the time. I do not think that the main gas valve is bad at all.

Gas valve is leaking

There is no repair to fix the leaking gas valve other than to replace the gas valve with a brand new one.

Deep fryer pilot light switches off automatically

First make sure that the thermocouple tube is directly in the pilot light flame. If it is, then the thermocouple is defective.

Frymaster Dean Deep Fryers pilots light automatically go off

Will this heat up at all. Is it the same Model # as the one you .have some changes from the one you have for 2 years ago might have been made. check model # and make sure it is the same The light that go's out might be when the unit come up to the setting you put you Thermostat on meaning it heated up and will come back on when the temp drops and it starts to heat back up. it's that simple. if you just got this unit it should work if you turn the heating setting up . Let me know if the unit heats that is the starting point.

Hi there. Check the gas pressure, it must be standard as required on unit,s nameplate, low gas pressure can cause this problem. Check and clean also the burners as needed. Regards.

With thermostat off still lets gas thru

Either the thermostat or the gas valve has failed. Locate and disconnect one of the wires going to the thermostat, if unit continues to heat the gas valve has failed, if not, the thermostat is likely stuck closed (on).

Hi there.Your maxitrol regulator specification is correct for natural gas use, the pressusre setting may be in minimum (3"wc) that's why the fryer does not fire-up or it may also be clogged.Check also if the spring is sitting properly on top of the plunger.Regards.

Why is my fryer rapidly bubbling

Hi there!Check the deeper part of the fry pot, crumbs or food debris may have accumulated there causing oil to produce excessive bubbles during frying.Also, overloading with products more than usual water content will also result in this.Regards.
