Cant get dell insiron 1525 to restore factory settings

Dell Tec told me to choose "To set up Windows XP now" (with Operating System CD in drive) If it doesn't work try Dell Tech Chat. I kept getting "Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt: <Windows root>\system32\ntoskrnl.exe. Please re-install a copy of the above file." (I tried to restore to original factory, followed directions, f12 boot from CD but when I get to "Agree to Licensing Agreement" none of the keys work except ESC.) I was able to get on the Dell Tech Chat at http://support.dell.com/support/topics/global.aspx/support/chat/hardware_chat?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs (you need your Service Tag) tried same steps but keys would not work so they sent me a new hard drive that I can install myself. Evidently there is no way to fix this. Tech says wireless will work with new hard drive. Is your warranty active? I always get SquareTrade.com (cheaper than most) warranty. They fix or give you what you paid. Everything I buy breaks & sooner than you would think.

I want to tranfer my pics from my phone to the

You shouldn't need a disk, but you will have to make sure you have downloaded and installed the latest usb drivers and any software updates available for your phone and/or operating system. See also here and here. Or go to this page.
Also have a look at the user's forum for answers that relate specifically to your phone model.
If you're trying to download the photos without the Motorola phone tools, it will help to have image viewer software installed on your computer that will be able to download the photos into a folder where you can sort and access them. One free program that works well for me is Fastone Image Viewer, though I haven't tried it with your phone...The Image Viewer software will recognize your phone as if it were an external storage device or camera with photos stored on it, and you simply transfer the files you wish to save to your computer...
If you want to use the Motorola Phone Tools, you'll have to purchase the cd. See here. Then search the knowledge base for "picture transfer", and see in particular this article.
Good Luck.

I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance, please post back with a comment to this thread.
If I've managed to answer your question or solve a problem, please take just a moment to rate this post....thanks!

How do I reset my dell laptop D510 to factory

Your laptop came with a set of restore disks. Dell does not have a 1 step process. You need to format the hard drive and reinstall windows. You will need to install several drivers as well as the other software that came with it.

Please help me!!

It would help to know which Motorola phone you have. But sounds to me like you have only the Motorola Update software, meant to only upgrade your phone to latest Motorola operating system. In order to access your pictures, depending on your phone model, you will most likely need the Motorola Phone Tools application. Unfortunately it does not come with the phone. It can be purchased here: http://www.store.motorola.com/mot/en/US/adirect/motorola?cmd=catDisplayStyle&catKey=600960 You can also check www.modmymoto.com for aftermarket applications to access your phone. P2KCommander is one of the more popular programs.

Motorola raza v3 bluetooth

I would like to say don't transfer files with bluetooth because in high use areas you will get interference which corrupts the transfered file. But, people seldom care about why things happen they just want them fixed. well the best thing I can say is to try your transfers in an are where no one else has bluetooth or WiFi. I know this does not help, but there is a reason bluetooth is call all band or all spectrum noise.

Motorola razr v3

Hello adelino,

These pictures and songs are probably defaulted there and cannot be removed. Your best try is to use your computer to try to delete them instead of doing it over the phone.
