Your best bet is to contact Creative with an e-mail. They would probably want you to buy a completly new system tho. I find that e-bay has alot of the things i need. or post on gumtree what you need.

u cant control the volume whitout the volume control, u have to fix that one or get another like that.by the way what is the problem with him?

update sound card drivers
In sounds on control panel, check you have the sound ported to 5:1 or 6:1 speakers
Check you have the line out and other jacks connected properly

If it will turn back on and it jus keeps doin that,,,blow sterio out ,,,dust will cause that,,also check ,,if you have to replace speaker wire,,one little place in wire will do that everytime,,new sterios do that to protect reciever,,auto shut off,,,

If you are having trouble with no sound you would need drivers for your sound card. If you are not sure where to get the drivers let me know the make and model of your sound card. If you have a manufactured computer let me know the model you have so I can point you to the right drivers.

It depends on whether you are transmitting a 5.1 sound source - check your settings in control panel > sounds

Do they use a jack plug the same size as a pair of headphones would? if so try plugging them into a radio or CD player to test that the speakers work, if you still dont get sound and your sure the volume and any other switches are in the correct possitions then you will know it is a fault with your speakers, if they do work then there is a fault with your computer outputting sound.

If the plugs are in place, have you installed the sound card drivers? If not install them and check for the sound

Try searching again using Google, using BT 9843, but when you look down the results ignore the two letters and see if you can find an IC which is the same numbers, even if it has different letters on the front. Those letters could be just the makers letters, with the device made by different makers.
