Mouse won't work
First check the mouse/touchpad is detected in the device manager. If it is proceed, if it isn't it could indicate a hardware fault.
Double check it hasn't been disabled with your "Fn" keys or by a separate button on the exterior of your laptop. This is the most common cause of this problem among my clients.
If that doesn't work try re-loading the drivers for the device. You haven't mentioned what OS you're using otherwise I'd have given you a direct link to the drivers.
If neither of those solutions work, check the internal connection. It should be an easy to access ribbon cable under the keyboard.

Replace ram memory
Close the lid, turn the laptop over and remove the screw that covers the memory slot or slots. Make sure you're using ram that is compatible with your computer. Sometimes the 2nd memory slot might be under the keyboard or plamrest which means you will have to disassemble the laptop to get to it.

I cannot charg the battery
I have toshiba
Borrow a different 19V charger from a friend see if its just your charger if not then the DC jack most likely is damaged common issue with Toshiba and Acers. Good thing is Toshiba does not solder the DC jack it fits in a sleeve and plugs into the board. The Dc jack should run you around $5-$15 dollars the repair is a tare down to the boards right corner. Look on utube for "A75 tare down" should be a video floating around show you where the screws are. Shop would charge right around $100-$125 dollars if more they are ripping you off.

I have a Toshiba A75
Whenyou connect the power adapter into the laptop, does the power LED lightup? If not then -
The battery adapter or the adapter's power lead or the laptop's powersocket could be faulty.
Check power adapter's DCplug that connects into the laptop power socket with a multi-meter, the voltageshould be slightly higher than the voltage that is printed on the label on thebottom of the adapter. If the voltage is zero or way below the voltage that isprinted on the label then the power adapter is faulty and needs to be replaced.
If the adapter is OK thenconnect it to the laptop and power it up, then look at the power/batterycharging LED light and wriggle the power plug in the laptop's powersocket. If the power/battery LED light flashes and in a certain position thisLED light stays firm, then the power socket is either faulty or it has a drysolder joint where it is connected to the motherboard.
This can be repaired but itrequires the laptop to be completely dismantled to get at this power socket andrepair. If you cannot DIY then I suggest you get a quote first.

I have a laptop
That takes an IDE HDD. They are universal so any notebook IDE HDD will replace that 1. I like Weatern Digital because they really are good about standing behind their hard drives. Now it only came with a 4200 RPM so when u upgrade purchase the 5400 RPM. If the bios firmware only supports the 60GB then u will need to format a larger drive with a second partition using admin tools as a mass storage device.

My Toshiba Satellite A75-S206 does not remain on
Make sure your laptop is plugged into the wall, a low battery would cause it to turn off before you see the Windows screen. Clean the unit exterior, especially around the fan element. Remove the battery completely. Also, consider where you placed the unit previously and ensure that there was a good airflow and nothing was clogging around the laptop when in use. Remove the hard drive and memory stick from the bottom of laptop and leave them out for thirty min and then reinstall. Also try to remove the HDD physically from its bay and try to boot from CD drive. Place a bootable CD in your disc drive (XP install CD) and power ON the laptop. Press F12 when you see the Toshiba logo. Select CD drive as your boot device.
