I have a Packard Bell ixtreme X6622 that worked

Wow. No, it should not take that long to do a restore. The problem is stopping the restore MAY brick the system. Your problem seems to have started with the ParetoLogic. It seems this program will not uninstall properly unless you kill it in task manager first. http://support.paretologic.com/customer/en/portal/articles/2222917-how-to-uninstall-paretologic-internet-security- This is strange because most security program cannot be disabled from task manager. Once you installed AVG you had 2 antivirus running at the same time - if not 3, Norton has been known to not uninstall cleanly. They even make a special removal tool. Download and run the Norton Remove and Reinstall tool If the restore finishes - great, if it doesn't and you have to shut down the computer, it should roll back when you reboot. That puts you back to where you started so follow the instructions to remove Paretologic, run the Norton Removal tool and just to be sure, run the AVG Removal tool because the install might have been corrupted. http://www.avg.com/ca-en/utilities

Packardbell notebook can't switch turn on webcam

Look at the keys on your keypad. Do you see one that may have a webcam symbol on it? If so try holding down on the Fn key, and pressing down on that key at the same time.

If this information does not help, then when Windows is loaded, and running, press the Start key, hover your mouse cursor on All Programs, go to the right, hover on >Packard Bell>drop down to >Security and Support>and then Packard Bell InfoCentre.

Click on Packard Bell InfoCentre. On this screen look at the icons across the top. Click on the icon all the way to the right. -> Guides
It has an icon of a book in it.
Look for Webcam.

Laptop runs slow

A slow computer could be caused by a number of things - 1. Insufficient RAM (memory) - if your computer has less than 512Mb of RAM then increase it to at least 1Gb of RAM. 2. Registry problems - clean and repair the registry, it will contain unused registry keys. Use programs such as Registry Mechanic, Microsoft RegClean etc. 3. Uninstall/remove unused programs, this will also free up hard disk space. 4. Not enough hard disk space - swap file space may need to be increased if Windows hasn't been configured to manage it. 5. Install latest Windows updates. 6. Update virus definition files and scan computer for viruses, Trojans, malware etc. 7. Clear the Internet cache for faster browsing. 8. Hard disk maintenance is required at least once a month to keep it functioning efficiently. Run the following programs - Disk Cleanup - removes temporary files that are no longer used and to recovers hard disk space. Disk Defragmenter to make fragmented files into contiguous files and therefore the hard disk access is faster.

Won't find wireless connection

Did you turn the wireless switch on? Normally there is a switch either on the sides or the front of the laptop that you have to turn on. Sometimes it is a button at the top of the keyboard.

Also once the wireless switch is turned on there are keystrokes that can toggle the wireless on or off. Normally you would Press and Hold the FN function key located at the lower left of the keyboard, then hit the correct F1 thru F12 key that toggles the wireless. The correct F1 thru F12 key to hit will have the wireless signal icon )))) on it. Or it might have the icon of a tower with the wireless signal icon )))). Normally the screen will display Wireless On or Wireless Off when you toggle the wireless.

Reset my asus laptop to factory settings

It is normally a function key (F1 thru F12) you press repeatedly once you hit the power button. F11 seems to be the most popular one. Sometimes the recovery is listed in the program list. Click Start/Programs and see if you see any reference to recovery. It might be listed in one of the Asus Folders in the Program List. You can always go to Asus site and download or view the manual. Look for Recovery in it.Get onlineand got to www.google.com In the google search box type: "AsusSupport" (without the quotes). Look for downloads and drivers. Enter your model number and operating system when requested. Look for Manuals or Documents.

Pls hi need free gsm solution

To my knowledge there are no FREE wireless broadband solutions in the country. The least expensive is cricket (http://www.mycricket.com/broadband) which is as low as 40 dollars per month, but coverage is only in certain locations. Your laptop should have a built in wireless adapter which will allow you to access any wireless routers or wifi hotspots. If you have a wireless router at home you can use it to access the internet. If you need further assistance feel free to email me at [email protected]
